Update @TalkTalk - the signal is now dropping out approximately every 10 minutes... I’d like to get some work done today - the router is at present successfully thwarting me... 😬

@TalkTalk you are by far the biggest pile of shite telecoms company out there. **** service, no customer service, I think you make it up as you go along. Never recommending you to anyone, actually I will go out of my way to steer people clear.

@Peter_Follett @virginmedia Try TalkTalk. I left a Virgin £80 per month 'Faster Fibre' TV + phone package in December. Connection always dropping..Had no problems with our internet since and now pay £35 capped for 24 mths! Plus their live chat is much quicker than trying to get hold of Virgin!

Grrrrr. I rarely tweet but @TalkTalk have ruined my day off. Tried unsuccessfully to obtain a new router, been talked down to like I am a child and charged for an engineer I didn't request or need! Why the heck did I ever leave @virginmedia. Indian call centres are so aggressive!

@TalkTalk It has been that ONLY the 2.4g has been dropping out, not working while 5g and wired are rock solid. Was told that I had to have an engineer visit as it was a problem in my property causing the issue, not a faulty router as I still believe. Being charged for a visit I didn't want

Wow @TalkTalk you are awful! We are trying to cancel our account as your broadband is terrible. The phone lines to cancel accounts is closed. If we don’t cancel today we don’t get our money back. How can we ensure we get our 30 day guarantee back please without the charge?!

@brit_battleaxe Good for you - and yes, they should give you your 6 months back! Had TalkTalk known what they were doing it would have taken an OpenReach engineer no longer than hour to find there was a fault on the line and one at the exchange and fix them both!

@TalkTalk Hey, what's happening.19.05pm 08/06/2025, and the ASDL broadband is intermittent? What's happened? What's the problem? Is this planned? or is it a problem on your end. Downdetector shows it's been problematic since 07.00am this morning. What's going on?

Yo, @tchalenko dealin' wid a vexin' situation, mon! Him move house in August 2023 an' try transfer him TalkTalk broadband, but dem couldn't hook up service at di new spot. Still, dem keep chargin' him, even after promisin' to cancel di contract an' waive fees. TalkTalk also claim dem never get di router him send back, an' dem want £50 more. Luke vex bad, gettin' threatenin' letters 'bout him credit score an' even t'inkin' 'bout court. Seems like TalkTalk got a history of billin' mix-ups, like a big fine in 2011 for overchargin'. Luke could try CISAS, a free service to sort out disputes, if TalkTalk don't fix t'ings. It’s a rough one, mon, but dem options deh fi him!

@Ofcom if @TalkTalk can’t provide a decent service can I expect a decent service from another provider using the same copper lines. Logically I think not so I’m hesitant to lock myself in with anyone

@TalkTalk Thanks, But that's funny as if you check Downdetector for 08/06/2025 it confirms what I've said that Talktalk's broadband was down, intermittent, not working. So it's not just me saying this. Currently 11.06am, 09/06/2025 its working as normal, question is, for how long????????
