Ben Shimmin (@bas_again) reported from Ashwick, England
Dido Harding is in charge of the UK government’s “Track, Test, and Trace” service. She was the CEO of TalkTalk when they got hacked in 2015 and had no idea whether the customer data was encrypted. (Astonishingly, she has a degree in PPE - not the equipment one - from Oxford.)

@TalkTalk Good morning. I've woken up this morning to find I have no internet. Router rebooted twice but no joy. Your planned maintenance apparently does not affect local area. Can you help?

@TalkTalk Day 4 of paying for a service. This is absolutely not good enough. At a time like this, we are totally disconnected from family. I’m not able to FaceTime my mother, who’s at home alone with 2 broken ribs. We need this sorted today!

@TalkTalk Well at least that is a reply. If I DM you, will you be able to sort this in the next 10 mins while I'm on my lunch break? Or is this going to be another all day issue that is still happening on 6 hours

Adrian Norris (@adriannorris) reported
@TalkTalk I just helped my 85 year old, deaf father cancel his contract. Twice you hung up on him because he misheard security questions. You deliberately make cancelling difficult for elderly people. Call quality to your Irish call centre was appalling (why??)... 1/2

Spoke to a nice young man called Jos at @TalkTalk today who tested my line after I reported a problem with the connection. So far it has remained stable since the call but I am keeping a close eye on it.

Chef Jay Moffatt (ex Royal Navy) (@jay_moffatt) reported
@TalkTalk NO ! You will look into it, say I got what I wanted, miss the point totally and thank me. I will just keep telling everyone how bad your customer service is, and how you don't care about the little person because there are plenty more little people to not care about already.

@TalkTalk why is CallSafe on my account when I asked Y have U removed 14258 call blocking service that was an excellent way to block people/scammers/unwanted calls? When I last enquired U removed CallSafe but didn’t re-instate 14258. Still not got 14258 but got annoying CallSafe!

@TalkTalk oh look, the Internet hasn't come back up after the maintenance. Isn't that odd? That's never happened before has it. Oh look, I'm running out of mobile data again due to Talk Talks service being absolute diabolical. Isn't that a rare thing?
