I've discovered that if you're not with Virgin for broadband you have Openreach, they service all others from Sky to EE, TalkTalk to BT. Also, Openreach outsource work so beware dodgy contractors!

@TalkTalk Dear TalkTalk, I am still waiting for my Broadband installation to be completed. I had an engineer visit on Thursday 4th February 2021. My appointment slot was from 1300 - 1800. The engineer arrived at 1615 and left at 1800. He said the external cable was broken.

@TalkTalk Hi again I have used this service several times in the past, so I am aware of what I need to do. When I call 14258 the message I get is “sorry the service requested is not available thankyou for calling please hang up”. I just want to know why it isn’t working!
