  • gporter1983 Gary Porter (@gporter1983) reported from Glenrothes, Scotland

@ThirdSectorLab @virginmedia I had a similar frustrating experience with Virgin Media a couple of weeks ago. I was on a loop of nonsense via text messages for over a week. I resorted to calling again and selecting the option “thinking of leaving”, 10 mins later - problem solved. Terrible customer service.

  • C_CWarrender Claire Warrender (@C_CWarrender) reported from Methil, Scotland

@fionalmorrison @virginmedia Twice! We need to work out how to work round a break in service before we rage quit!

  • doubledutch13 John van Dieken (@doubledutch13) reported from Methil, Scotland

  • gporter1983 Gary Porter (@gporter1983) reported from Glenrothes, Scotland

@VirginMember @stephenp6255 @virginmedia Yeah, thanks, it appeared on the status page that there was an issue, but there must a bigger issue as 2nite it will go down again no doubt

Can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever received customer service as poorly as I have from @virginmedia this weekend/this morning. Absolutely disgusting 😡😡😡

@TPLINKHelp got a archer ax72 connected to my virgin media super hub 4(modem mode) from the modem i get 1gbps however when going through the ax72 speed drops to 750ish gbps (via wired connection) any way to fix this. also the 2 are connected via a cat8 cable.

  • thenickysantana Lloyd (@thenickysantana) reported

@virginmedia Ok, thanks I guess. Really, if I call to advise of an issue (especially on a 3rd or 4th occasion) I shouldn't just keep getting fobbed off into a loop of service checks and then directed to a community forum.

  • Kerrydennettt Kerry (@Kerrydennettt) reported

@virginmedia Then cancelled to be told I never cancelled a month later and I can’t cancel because now suddenly out of the blue I can’t access my own account & the only email address that I’ve had for 15 years now isn’t the right one 🤔🧐 mad tha

  • n111aow Tim Sture (@n111aow) reported

@jetlbomb @virginmedia Thought you are as someone said stuck with BT openreach. Zen can’t do anything without Open reach cooperation but they give good support.

  • saundmandeep Mandeep Saund (@saundmandeep) reported

@virginmedia It’s not about what it is now - it is about how the service speed drops consistently and therefore Virgin Media not delivering on the speed they have committed to - as evidenced on the speed tests I’ve carried at varied intervals

  • neyo Steve Day (@neyo) reported

@virginmedia @ChrisInSilk +1 on this problem, same experience as @ChrisInSilk

  • Kerrydennettt Kerry (@Kerrydennettt) reported

@virginmedia I’ve been told I can’t even access my own account to cancel it… So where do I go from here lol. The staff I’ve spoken to have simply said there’s nothing they can do… so I just let my bill keep going up when I’m not allowed to pay? Pls just take my money and let me go 😭 beggin

  • aczombie1 aczombie (@aczombie1) reported

@virginmedia Sadly, yes! Same postcode as Sati. The check service tool says it can't check our equipment rn, but I've spoken to someone on the phone. Technician booked for the 17th. Probably will be cancelled again as this seems to be an area problem. If possible, could this pls be flagged?

  • DcapaGremlin DcapaGremlin (@DcapaGremlin) reported

@virginmedia We have been told this nearly everytime we have contacted customer services, you're all just repeating the same excuse over and over again, I very much doubt you been experiencing area faults for the last 11 months otherwise you wouldn't have any customers left in the area
