@virginmedia We tried the messaging service thank you that didn’t help either. To be honest we are dreading trying to contact you again in the new year to get this sorted another 2 hours on the phone! I would have thought it your responsibility to sort this out but apparently not!

@virginmedia Help...!!! Got home after picking up the kids and my Internet is now down, the green lights are on the hub one flashing. Rebooted twice, managed to check the status online and says everything is OK with the Internet. Been like it for 45 minutes to nearly an hour

  • CosmicHustler
Alien-**** (@CosmicHustler) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Any chance of some kind gesture of goodwill to a very long-term customer (Telewest days) and long-term isolator due to suppressed immune system, struggling without a working & very necessary distraction...

  • sair74
sarah allen (@sair74) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Hi there, I have just dialled 150 but it’s constantly engaged. My grandad is having problems with his tv and I need to get it sorted. A technician came 2 weeks ago but it’s gone back to the original problem, how can I contact you regarding this???

  • djchrisr
Chris Roberts (@djchrisr) reported from Worcestershire, England

@virginmedia I'm messaging for my mum - their V3 hub 2g radio is not working at all, stopped working last week. Enabling 5g has got it working on their newer devices but service is still very slow. Have tried hard reset, everything, but nothing is getting that 2g signal on

  • clareywilliams
clare williams (@clareywilliams) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia worst customer service I have ever come across!!! Arrange a call back time....dont bother to call back, then continue to bill me for a contract ended nearly months ago!!!!

  • BenLimehouse
Ben Limehouse (@BenLimehouse) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia I have already called that number this morning. They told me there was no available deals. I've put a note in my diary to call back on the 16th. I'm not holding out much hope though considering the poor experience I've had today. I wanted to sort it today on my day off.

  • HelenAbdullah08

@virginmedia Sadly no. we admitted defeat, we were on hold for 1hr 50 mins. Got through the next day, the equipment sent does not work properly now have been advised to call after the new year to chase it again. We are paying for a service we aren’t receiving this is really disappointing

  • nippa77

@Mtr95 @virginmedia I’ve had the same…so frustrating…just total lack of service regularly…if I had a choice of fibre providers here I’d ditch this shambles in a heartbeat

  • james_h_kerr
James Kerr (@james_h_kerr) reported from Studley, England

@KRIPTO99 @virginmedia I’m currently surveying my village on our local Facebook group. Loads of people having the same issue, but nothing coming up as a ‘known network issue’. I agree - it’s making working from home challenging.

  • _Rachele_
Rachele 🍷 (@_Rachele_) reported from Redditch, England

Looool. Virgin Media down again. Go to put our postcode in to see if service is affected in Redditch & apparently it's not a valid postcode. At least for a week every night the internet has gone down for about 20 minutes. Not the end of the world of course but a tad frustrating.

  • VINCIFMIanD
Ian Dodd (@VINCIFMIanD) reported from Bromsgrove, England

@virginmedia There seems to be an issue with your WiFi in Perton (Wolverhampton WV6). The problem has gone from intermittent, to no reception at all.

  • lorna_conway
Doonie (@lorna_conway) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia It's not an issues according to the site. It's working on wired connections. I'll be looking for compensation after this. If the costomer tells you there's a problem then take their word they're the ones paying you, why would they spend money other than to get what they pay for.

  • F1Dweeb
Hamps (@F1Dweeb) reported from Redditch, England

  • lorna_conway
Doonie (@lorna_conway) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia Friday I booked an engineer as the WiFi on our hub keeps dropping. At the same time I upgraded my package. This includes tech help. Since Friday I've had no WiFi. I tried website chat but got dropped I've tried calling but was waiting too long. I'm getting bored!

  • BenLimehouse
Ben Limehouse (@BenLimehouse) reported from Redditch, England

@virginmedia I'm an existing customer, I've been with you for coming up 2 years. The colleague I dealt with was so unhelpful and just told me to call back on the 16th. I have a back up plan anyway as I've just spoken to sky and can get a 80mb for £25. I can afford the 20mb loss for £34 saving

  • fatt_momas

@virginmedia No I haven’t because there is no clear number for me to call in regards to the issue

@PeteUK7 @IDHDRUM @virginmedia Win95 wouldve taken 3 weeks, not 3 months, theyre lying ******* trying to save face for their disgusting behaviour. Theyre predators, mis-selling + overcharging for services they simply arent (+ never) providing + their service as a whole is worse than running on timed dial up.

  • noel33330
    Noely Daniels (@noel33330) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Never understand why companies do this … same goes for insurance companies.

  • FractalDoctor
    Dr Stuart Woolley (@FractalDoctor) reported

@PeteUK7 @virginmedia Had exactly the same situation last year with a close relative. Complete shambles that took many mails and waiting on hold on the phone to resolve, then sending back boxes of crap that would no doubt go into landfill. I'd recommend avoiding them at all costs, for anyone.

  • TinoElduderino
    Tino 🐧🌋 (@TinoElduderino) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia They will offer you login to the website new deal if you do the chat with an agent or speak to some in the phone if you are willing to lock in for a new contract.

  • GrahamCompton
    🇬🇧 FI is awesome 😎 (@GrahamCompton) reported

@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Leave. Send back the equipment at their cost. Get your partner to order a new contract via a comparison site. Claim cashback. Been there, done that. Totally nuts customer service by Virgin.
