Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England@virginmedia First thing I did, and I run them regularly. Only 53.46 Mbps download and just 9.99 upload on a supposedly 100Mbps service! On a wifi laptop right next to the router it’s just 23.43 and 10.08
-
Ade1701 (@Ade1701) reported from Dorridge, England@virginmedia After more than FOUR HOURS on the phone I eventually got someone competent from billing to confirm I am eligible for one free booster and someone else to talk me through fixing the security issue. You seriously need to prioritise vulnerable customers!

Nickins (@ninsull) reported from Solihull, England@virginmedia how can you spend nearly an hour on two phones to report a problem with no one picking up. Yet ask me if il refer you. @next stop I’m cancelling my contract.
-
Roger Leitch (@notdodgy) reported from Solihull, England@virginmedia No estimated time. "It's a complex problem". In other words its a network fault not a line fault. Why isn't the number you shared available on your website? The service checker is useless in this scenario. The website says it's working when it isn't.
-
💙 Helen Abdullah 💙 (@HelenAbdullah08) reported from Redditch, England@virginmedia Didn’t get a response then told another dept would contact. All we want is the service we are paying for. We need a new v6 box the replacement sent doesn’t work properly(set top box) we cannot use catch up and the picture is intermittently pixilated.
-
sharon Elizabeth Noa (@SharonNaokes) reported from Wythall, England@virginmedia My main issue is that I need to speak to someone!! How do I do that? The line is constantly busy and won’t even put me on hold, the website says I need to speak to someone to deal with my requests! Can you see my problem? It’s appalling.I’m paying for a service I’m not receiving

-
Neil Simpson (@nippa77) reported from Headless Cross, England@Mtr95 @virginmedia I’ve had the same…so frustrating…just total lack of service regularly…if I had a choice of fibre providers here I’d ditch this shambles in a heartbeat

-
Sarah (@sarahlustne) reported@PeteUK7 @virginmedia I can never comprehend how companies continually **** up with bereavements, they must be notified of so many each day. BT for us were absurd when my MIL died, we finally spoke to a human who wrote the bill off because they were appalled. Sorry for your loss 🩷
-
Dermot Hayes (@DermotHayes7) reported@ODonnellDale I have virgin media broadband and TV and have no issues with it at all
-
sally quick (@QuickSally) reported@virginmedia @PeteUK7 Not good enough. Update your damn system.
-
Noely Daniels (@noel33330) reported@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Never understand why companies do this … same goes for insurance companies.
-
Margot (@Baggladee) reported@virginmedia @JamieGBarry It’s a ridiculous business model that a decent regulator would stop. You lost me as a customer because I didn’t play the game. Apparently I should have phoned you to ‘negotiate’ instead of taking your new price at face value, cancelling and moving to another provider
-
Barry Hollocks (@SickofwaitingD) reported@PeteUK7 @virginmedia When I was helping transfer accounts for my then newly widowed Grandma, @BT asked to speak to my freshly cremated Grandad to confirm the account switch. Big companies are just bad.
-
Kris (yes it's actually spelt with a K) (@kobraman88) reported@JamieGBarry @virginmedia Stupid ***** tried to offer me a "deal" for my broadband after i had been on a rolling contract for a while that was more expensive (£75pm), managed to grind them down to a decent price and the morons didn't even put me on a new contract so left and went with HyperOptic for £25pm
-
Pete 😷 #COVIDisAirborne (@PeteUK7) reported@itsendeavour @virginmedia I hope they listen to the feedback they are receiving here. Not that I suppose they care that much. It's all about pleasing shareholders rather than providing professional service to their customers.
-
Fletch (@ItsMeFletch_) reported@PeteUK7 @virginmedia Proper *****…! When my old man died, I called into tell them and try to cancel, explained that I was doing all I could when the call handler asked “could I speak to the account holder to confirm the details” Absolute **** stain of a company.
