Within 24 hours of me ringing @virginmedia, we’re up and running with broadband (it’s also dead fast, bonus) 👏🏼 If anyone is considering @NOWTV for internet, PLEASE don’t bother. They are honestly the worst provider I’ve ever come across.

@MrDKOz @virginmedia I asked Virgin's technician about the business package when i joined and he specifically said I wouldn't need it because their fibre service is so reliable it'd be a waste of money to go for the business package. I remember that vividly and it turned out to be terrible advice.

@virginmedia Not officially complained as hoped it would be resolved due to repeated reassurances I’ve had! Shouldn’t have to log a complaint for your error (verified by your engineers)! Cost of GP Partner husband (&my) time far exceeds cost of line rental we are paying for no landline!

@virginmedia Thank you for your response. I hope it will be fixed by tomorrow as I work remotely full time and it’s costing me a lot of money having to go to coffee shops these last few days just to use the internet to do my job. Not to mention no correspondence before this issue occurred.

@virginmedia not sure I’ve met a company with worse customer service than you. an absolute disgrace from the very beginning. treating a new customer like I’ve been treated (and many others it seems) is unacceptable. looks like I’ll need to stick with Sky.
-
Andy Colley
(@MrAColley) reported
@virginmedia So the 'best price' is almost double the new customer price for the same package? £26/m vs the £50/m I've been quoted. I just wish I didn't have to say I want to cancel and then be put through to dept after dept before being offered the real best price is all.
-
caroline bruton
(@cbcbruton) reported
@virginmedia Yes I've seen this already but they've been saying since Monday their doing work will we get a refund as not able to use WiFi any apps such as Netflix on demand etc n picture quality is particularly bad on BBC channels 🤔
-
rhona paterson

@virginmedia Yes. I have seen the update telling us there is an issue but no real assurance that you know what the fault is and it's being worked on. With 21st century tech this is far too long to wait for this to be fixed.

Craig James Duffy
(@CraigJDuffy) reported
@MrAColley @virginmedia It’s a special offer for new customers is how they justify it. Leave Virgin if you can, they are a horrible company who charged my friend an early exit fee of £250 for needing to end their contract early after they were made homeless.
