@virginmedia Broken again this morning after being ok eventually yesterday - managed to get through on the phones as it's still early - they are now checking and its been escalated and an engineer booked for Monday - progress of sorts!

@virginmedia Used to work for the company know all about rebooting after a fix. Just done *** and TiVo box again whilst still waiting for someone to answer the phone and it still doesn’t work. Absolutely shocking

@virginmedia It’s only been in the past few weeks that it’s gotten so bad. I was getting updates 2 weeks ago from @EE saying they were doing work in my area, but have heard nothing since. Shame you don’t have wi-fi calling

@Matey30 @virginmedia Nothing less than I’ve come to expect from them. Service has been so bad which is why we’ve left their tv service. Had to keep the broadband for now due to limitations of other local providers. Now watching freeview…

@virginmedia I wanted to keep the appointment so I can cancel it on Wednesday if the problem *is* fixed today. If the appointmentwas kept, the "fix" could be tested when 10am comes Mon, Tue, Wed. But the system has cancelled it. This is incredibly frustrating.

@virginmedia Hi, with a reason to sort out the problem. I then had my TV reduced down to the Mixit package then another email to say my contract was now £73.25. I then rang again to find out why it had gone up to this from £51 and to get a reduced package, finally one of your agents

@virginmedia VM failed to set the upgrade to 360. Sent two new remotes which are still not used. Have spoke to two tech engineers. The first was helpful and told me what was wrong. Second wasn’t. Clearly looks like he hasn’t sent the letter out so still paying for a service your not fixing

@virginmedia Yes I mean the tv box, it has already been changed. When we switch our tv on it doesn’t connect and has been like this with both boxes, it isn’t the TV as you can switch the tv on and the fire stick works so the problem is virgin! Also it records series that aren’t even new!

@virginmedia Finally able to raise a complaint. Ref no C-210822155. Not sure if the due diligence will be done here. My hopes are very low from @virginmedia @VMSolutions_ An advice to all broadband consumers out there - do not sign long term contract with companies, you will get stuck.

@virginmedia I also reported this on the support forum and nobody from VM replied. Work was finally undertaken a week last Thurs and Fri (11,12/08) which took all 3 services off for the day on the Thurs and this seemed to do the trick, until now.

@virginmedia Sorry, already had 2 web chats - been offered a deal at £71.25/month and a credit for the last 2 bills but received nothing at all. Was promised a call after the last webchat and not had one - sick of the customer service and false promises

@virginmedia I get that. Just slightly confused at the ‘no issues’ part. There is clearly an issue. Working fine / technicians are working in the area / no longer working. Virgin not taking any responsibility and telling my OAP parents their hub isn’t set up right. Shocking.
