-
Jean Thierry 💙 (@MutliRaceMan) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia It was a five minute fix, but she lost one month of TV access as a result. She’s a nurse so arranging a daytime appointment took a while because of her work patterns. It’s her first home of her own and I felt she had been treated in a less than respectable manner.
-
Tahmehtay (@tahmehtay) reported from Birmingham, England
In addition to the cost of a new home that I have to furnish fully top to bottom, @virginmedia is trying to charge me £240 exit fee when THEY don't supply the new address. This is seriously getting me down. I can't even afford necessities.
-
David Byrne (@dbyrne2112) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia The issue is happening on the app so it looks like it’s duplicated the laptop using chrome 4 times. 3 of those need removing which I can’t do

-
Adam (@brumadam) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia hi, since we’ve upgraded to 1gb and hub 4 we’ve had problems connecting @Tesla M3 to WiFi. Advised the Plume mesh might fix it and we can receive FOC but been out of stock all year it seems. Any idea when they might be back in stock to try and fix our issues please?
-

Dr Ioannis Azoidis (@azoidismd) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia Yes, everyone is sorry and everyone understands but no one wants to help. I still haven’t cancelled and you ask me to pay early cancellation fees after raising the prices. If not talking about the current contract I stayed a customer for almost 4 years even with the abuse I got.
-
Tahmehtay (@tahmehtay) reported from Birmingham, England
@virginmedia seems to supply only just above half of the country, but if you change address to an area they don't supply YOU have to pay £240 exit fee. Do not use them if you can't see into the future and know for sure that you will never move. Insane!
-
JADE (@jdbhrrs) reported from Birmingham, England

@HanSolonoid @virginmedia I basically doing what I like to call a "Ronseal" tweet which is to say "Exactly what is says on the tin" In this case what I was saying was "You need to fix this and fast". In other words, I was saying I need them to really fix this problem ASAP. I can draw a diagram?
-
John bradley (@Jb_radley) reported
@tb_tom89 @backinyerpram @virginmedia My comment about living in the wrong country was to prove my point NO UK isp can guarantee 100% service %100 of the time. So you can't rely on Internet as a life saving service

@jasonkneen @hffhhggffgh @virginmedia I wonder if that's correct. May be worth checking with Virgins policies. Out of curiosity, why don't you change provider if you have this many issues?
-
Gary Arnott (@GaryArnott) reported
@hellofthedevil @AmigaBoing Hope so Tommy, I know lots of people have been affected by this #virginmedia outage. It's caused our family huge upset due to our circumstances & I'm frustrated I didn't perceive an occasion where I'd be let down like that, wishing I had an alternative service provider available.

John bradley (@Jb_radley) reported
@tb_tom89 @backinyerpram @virginmedia My point is if something is life or death you cannot rely on just 1 thing. You have backups and your backups have backups. Yes virgin have had an issue today but there is nothing that a few hours without Internet can cause a life threatening situation.
