Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Lower Beeding, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lower Beeding and nearby locations:

  • rafthemaster Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia family recently got your services and are having a sound issue which looking online is a problem that’s been around a while but I can find if you ever published a resolution - sound on V6 box cuts out intermittently for a moment in Dolby Ditial Audio programs

  • rafthemaster Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Hi - issue hasn’t resolved from reboot (didn’t appear to be an update). Also seeing very intermediate problems where programs freeze momentarily/blur (almost like on satellite when the weather gets in the way / when the hard drive was struggling to playback files)

  • Unhappyconsume1 Service please (@Unhappyconsume1) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia as holding time is up to one hour why don’t you have a call back service like many others companies. On hold for up to one hour from my mobile to deal with an issue we had for months

  • ColynMitchell Mitch (@ColynMitchell) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I pay for 300 meg broadband and have done for a long time. Currently via ethernet cable I get 100 meg and wifi 30-40 meg tops. But as low as 10-15 meg. When trying to stream anything via firestick I get buffering. A few weeks ago we had no problems.

  • SMLJacinto Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England

@virginmedia @StockerAlex And yes @StockerAlex it is true, in a 2 hour phone call, you talk with several members of staff, and to each one you have to start the same conversation over and over again! @virginmedia not good! Improve customer service, and don’t lie to your clients!

  • ColynMitchell Mitch (@ColynMitchell) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia Reboot temporarily increased the speed but nothing near the service I was getting in the past. I work from home a need fast connection. So need this sorted out please.

  • mr_coops Martin Cooper (@mr_coops) reported from East Grinstead, England

    @TrekinTech @virginmedia Looks like a Wi-fi problem ;)

  • mattie_b83 mattieb (@mattie_b83) reported from Crawley, England

What a load a shit @viginmedia is ! Just spent 13 quid on a movie that wont even play ! So gonna look at different companies virgin media is just expensive crap

  • rafthemaster Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@theTunnelBear is there an issue using your service on @virginmedia - first time using their internet and I can’t access your website and my bear won’t activate (HTTPS error is thrown rather than a direct blocking notification) think @ThreeUK are also blocking your website

  • vishalagga Vishal Aggarwal 🧢 (@vishalagga) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia @vmbusiness just phoned VM customer support & guys in the background shouted “hey it’s God’s brother calling up in Hindi” that customer was of 90 years of age; I found that remarks so appalling. They must treat their customer with respect as they would expect to be

  • SMLJacinto Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England

@virginmedia I wish I could terminate the contract: you are not doing your bit that is providing me with a service!

  • dyllan08 Glen Battams© (@dyllan08) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia 10 days now been waiting for a call back after an engineer decided to drill into my house without permission and with nobody at home customer service is absolutely shocking #virginmedia #dontgetvirgin

  • GaryAblett3 Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I’m confused. This isn’t a general concern. This is a complaint and you are legally obliged to handle the complaint or I will simply refer to Ofcom.

  • SMLJacinto Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England

@virginmedia Since the beginning of January (I moved house) and I am waiting for Virgin Media to connect my service! So I am without internet, TV and telephone! Booked 3 times, and 3 times you cancelled!

  • GaryAblett3 Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia No. The reference was not given to me. But the complaint was logged.

  • SMLJacinto Sonia Jacinto (@SMLJacinto) reported from Salfords, England

@virginmedia I have complained... feedback or solving my problem has been none!!!!

  • BAAAAAAAAAAAAB Ben Barrett (@BAAAAAAAAAAAAB) reported from Crawley, England

    @virginmedia making isolation harder with poor/no Wi-Fi

  • Shots_16 Shots (@Shots_16) reported from Lewes, England

Your service is ******* shit. Stealing my money and leave me on hold for 45 minutes. I paid for a 12 month contract. I called up and cancelled 2 months ago. So why have I been billed £55 for the past 2 months WHICH IS MORE THAN I PAID DURING MY CONTRACT @virginmedia

  • JMRChauffeurs JMRCS (@JMRChauffeurs) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I cancelled an additional channel package and wanted to cancel it despite a chat with online help it still hasn't been cancelled

  • GaryAblett3 Greyman (Gary A) (@GaryAblett3) reported from Crawley, England

@virginmedia I’m sorry but that’s goal post moving. I’m not accepting that as a valid response. If you’re paid money for a service I expect a half decent service. This is 60% of what we are paying for. Also, I complained over the phone and you never responded to my complaint.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • sallymunden1 sallymunden (@sallymunden1) reported

@virginmedia Is there anything enabled on my line that might be some sort of DNS protection of forcing my devices to use a particular DNS service? If there are then can this be disabled so that they can test again from the network?

  • Tesshan8211 Tesshan (@Tesshan8211) reported

@virginmedia works being carried out on the line today. SMS about it sent yesterday. I work from home and I cannot even use Giffgaff as a hotspot. Working on the line there as well. No notice. You own both companies and this is ridiculous after the 48h+ outage from last week.

  • jemmy_wood Brexit Air Cargo Ltd (@jemmy_wood) reported

@virginmedia 24 hours now of your 'customer services' via whatsapp and still nothing resolved...apart from answering the same questions over and over again. In the 'old days' 5 minutes on the phone would have been able to resolve things. #downgradeincustomerservices

  • sallymunden1 sallymunden (@sallymunden1) reported

@virginmedia I do cad drawings and am unable to access the servers anymore. IT have mapped them which i am then able to work on but then am having problems when xrefs are remapped. They want to know if there is some sort of software protection solution is breaking the DNS resolution.

  • SteveStrategy Steve Machell (@SteveStrategy) reported

@virginmedia I’ve not been able to find where to talk to someone about this order/missing delivery. Rather than sending the link to your help page can you pls direct me on how I can find out what is happening with this order.

  • gocycling21 gocycling2 (@gocycling21) reported

@virginmedia WiFi. I have it connected to a Deco mesh in modem mode. It was certainly ~ 100mbs, but in recent weeks has become very slow and unreliable

  • Teens22 Christina Relf (@Teens22) reported

@simonnread @virginmedia I use Plusnet and don't have service issues.

  • susan_jacques Susan Jacques (@susan_jacques) reported

@virginmedia Day 3 without broadband now :( All the service status links provided are unavailable as well. The promise yesterday of it being up and running by 5pm is long overdue... so frustrating and none of the service links provided work anymore either to check progress!

  • simonnread simon read (@simonnread) reported

@virginmedia The service has been intermittent for about six weeks now. It's hopeless and costly as I work from home

  • CashQuestions Annie Shaw (@CashQuestions) reported

@Alanol1 @simonnread @virginmedia like, I said, not a recommendation. TBH I find it astonishing service from these companies can STILL be so poor. We have huge mobile blackspots in towns. Shops can't use credit card verification. I can't get so much as a 2g signal in my kitchen 😳 Better service in darkest Peru!
