@virginmedia You have no idea how frustrating this is for your customers. There was a big problem on Tues and no updates until half way through the day! No point in phoning technical support, am off to find a WiFi hot-spot!

@virginmedia How much compensation will customers get for both this and the outage today. We were affected by both and had no broadband for over 12+ hours

@AlBayliss @virginmedia And you call their automated line and it tells you, it looks like there are no issues affecting your area at the moment, when clearly there is 😂

@Growlingadam @Bournemouthecho Ours in Amesbury went down at midnight, took about 40mins to get through to @virginmedia by phone. We’ve been told engineers were on the way and will be fixed ASAP
-
Vicky Charles (@SingleMAhoy) reported from Salisbury, England
@virginmedia According to the app, service is fine. I don't have a wire to check wired connection but streaming through my Virgin TV box seems unaffected. So frustrating when I've already had 2 days of no service in the last month.
-
David Wookey #Confinedtohouse (@WooksAmesbury) reported from Amesbury, England
My thsnks to @virginmedia engineer who sorted the issue yesterday. New Hub fitted, cable/attenuator fault also identified and fixed, and early as well. Was only without decent comms for 25 hrs, could have been much worse (I will happiliy take the day bill rebate though please)

My @virginmedia wifi has been down since last night; their app has no updates. When I call I get a recorded message to say they're busy & to call back later before it hangs up. Crappy service yet again, Virgin.
-
Vicky Charles (@SingleMAhoy) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia cannot believe the service I received on the phone this morning. Absolutely awful. Have been without internet for 3 days now and you’re trying to charge me £25 for a call out?! Shocking.
-
Jennie Runnalls (@jenrun) reported
@virginmedia Renewed my contract yesterday. Told them I also had a fault with my box. Engineer checked and is faulty but sending the same old set top box that isn’t even compatible with itv hub. Why don’t you allow loyal customers to have a latest box like you do new customers? Will cancel!
-
Piccle (@PhilC1984) reported
@virginmedia Ok, thanks. Who can fix the broadband speed issue for me?
-
Jeet Toh (@Tech_jeet) reported
@virginmedia 3 times I've called and been hung up on when trying to cancel my contract. Official ofcom Complain is being made and I'm never coming back to this company. #badcustomerservice #customerexperience
-
CommandaCoder (@CommandaCoder) reported
@virginmedia No it hasn't. The installation date is 20th April. I am assuming this other appointment is the initial groundwork you do prior to the installation. It says "service request" on the appointment. I just checking that I don't need to be at home for this?
-
Simon says (@ItsOnlySimon) reported
Bah! @virginmedia is down 😫
-
Peter Goodwin 🦐 (@petergoodwin92) reported
@virginmedia All I get when trying to manually connect to Virgin is "SIM Card does not allow a connection to this network" But it should as it is a Virgin SIM and contract
-
PH (@i_see_double) reported
@virginmedia After 13 years of being a customer, I have cancelled. Thanks.
-
Stuart Sinderbury (@StupotSinders) reported
@virginmedia Thanks for the help but still not optimistic, when I've moved I've always took my equipment and plugged it in before contacting VM so I was sure the signal has not been disconnected outside. It was the same for this move, TV worked but Internet not, I think it's something else.

Jonathan Weeks (@weeksjm19) reported
@virginmedia I have no idea. I notice occasionally when the V6 box is on the network light comes on, on the box. The box is connected via Ethernet cable. Is it a case of to many devices connected via WiFi or is it a hub problem?
