@virginmedia Thank You. I feel so much better, knowing that His phone is now working. Hopefully He now stays with VM, instead of changing to BT, which He is thinking of doing because of the massive problems We have had this month, each time We try contacting you.

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@Vyvyan_punk @virginmedia yep — bouncing around here on M500 plan — 500+ down and jumps between 0.59 and 28mbps up. Zero help from @virginmedia apart from running speedtests

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia Not for a while — you’re not seriously telling me to “turn it off and on again” ? Can’t you check if there are any issues in the area?

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia jesus christ, I’m going around in circles on your instant chat — logged in yet having to confirm my name and all my details, can you stop using these annoying bots that do nothing to help? Wasting so much time.

  • HarvRM Harvey Mills (@HarvRM) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia I’m having issues with my router. I’ve turned off and on, reset it and checked it via your website. Although it says it’s all ok it’s most certainly Isn’t. I can’t keep a Teams or Zoom call and other household members having same problem. Can I have a router upgrade

  • bringthebow akjensen | BLM (@bringthebow) reported from Salisbury, England

Internet repeatedly dropping out (Salisbury, Wilts) and I don’t think it’s a local problem only. @virginmedia would you be able to update/fix pls?

  • CoachkeanoChris chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, England

@virginmedia Please could someone contact Me, regards My 91 year old Dad whose phone line is constantly on a busy tone when calling in, and No dial tone when trying to call out. I've sent countless emails and phone calls. Causing lot's of Stress in Family. Please Help.

  • HarvRM Harvey Mills (@HarvRM) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia you don’t answer your phones, you don’t respond to Twitter, you don’t respond to your online help chat. How exactly is one supposed to get hold of you. I have a problem with a router that needs sorting urgently

  • CoachkeanoChris chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, England

Virginmedia are an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Been trying to get hold of them all day, but all they do is use the excuse that Covid 19 is causing staffing problems. They have just doubled My Dad's bill, without any explanation and it's causing a great deal of stress. 😞

  • CoachkeanoChris chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, England

@virginmedia what an absolute joke of a Company. Worst service of any company I've ever had to deal with, and believe Me I've dealt with some **** ones in My life. My 91 year old Dad has no landline at the moment, and no way of contacting anyone at Virgin. Disgraceful Company.

  • zil75 Liz Cannings (@zil75) reported from Salisbury, England

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@TomMockridgeVM, Been a @virginmedia customer for 7 years — now on the M500 package and paying a hefty fee per month for broadband, phone and TV. Have had shocking upload speeds today (0.5mbps instead of 38mbps). Status page says fine — run test says not. Thread 1/3

  • HarvRM Harvey Mills (@HarvRM) reported from Salisbury, England

Trying to get hold of @virginmedia is impossible. I have tried chat, phone, Twitter and nothing. My router is faulty and all I need is for them to replace. Will be looking to move ASAP given such poor customer service. @ChrisCheckley any suggestions please.

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia and again today — 538 down and 1 up — need to know what’s going on here — you are killing my ability to work.

  • SophieGooner Sophie 🦛 (@SophieGooner) reported from Salisbury, England

@virginmedia it’s also impossible to speak to an actual person? I know the issue. I know I am offline as it is “updating” AGAIN. I want to know if this means I have a broken box as it happens all the time.

  • T4RGY66 Dan Targett (@T4RGY66) reported from Wilton, England

Dreadful undercard @EddieHearn and @virginmedia wtf is going on with signal!!???? #joshuavspulev 🥊 #CashBack

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia OK — you need to do better at this — I shouldn’t be wasting my time telling you there is a problem — you should know this before I do and tell me without going through tests — it’s clearly affecting multiple users

  • jasonkneen Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England

@virginmedia and just like that, 522 and 0.73mbps again. How do I book an engineer @virginmedia? — I’ve done all the checks; rebooted my network; the hub, I’ve tested on multiple devices WiFi, Wired; direct from the hub and the problem remains — drop outs, poor upload speeds.

  • emmacur71792881 emma curtis (@emmacur71792881) reported

@virginmedia Don’t waste my time your liars and stupid and do nothing what it takes two weeks to fit a 360 box really? Then try and palm an OAP off with saying the inept technician are coming but there not

  • craig100 Craig Stevens (@craig100) reported

@virginmedia The MyVirginMedia app will not install. Have tried several times. I can see plenty of really bad reviews which is prob why I never tried to install it before. Please advise why the TV Apps aren't working. Do they work for you?

  • bushofgoats an Empty Slogan Empty Slog (@bushofgoats) reported

@virginmedia the only hardwired device is the set top box - can I check the speed on that? As to the wifi, I had to buy a booster as the signal is so weak from the virgin router.

  • Wiessam Wiess (@Wiessam) reported

@raztweets @agawish @virginmedia My prob is I was already with virgin and ran into this issue when I moved my service to new home. Glad you can use your BT until virgin sort out this mess! Super impressed with BT customer service.

  • emmacur71792881 emma curtis (@emmacur71792881) reported

Virgin media lie and rip you off still left an OAP no services and lied a technician was coming no show no apology just expecting my mum to pay £84 for nothing- avoid virgin media like the plague appalling service and discrimination of an OAP

  • eduardomendesr5 Edu Ribas (@eduardomendesr5) reported

@virginmedia I have checked through the app. That is not my issue. My issue is the frequency that my service is interrupted and the fact that I am tied to a contract and receive no compensation for the frequent disruption in the service. I don’t live in a remote area. This is unacceptable.

  • AjayTarper Ajay Tarper (@AjayTarper) reported

@virginmedia I had an upgrade from 200mb to 350mb broadband. Ever since it’s happened, it’s knocked off my 5ghz and only have 2.4ghz. It’s rather slow and sluggish. I have superhub 3. Can you advise please? It happened this morning the upgrade and all day no 5ghz.

  • evanjeffares Evan Jeffares (@evanjeffares) reported

@McDonnellDan Why are the Ireland matches never on rte or virgin media anymore??

  • eduardomendesr5 Edu Ribas (@eduardomendesr5) reported

Hi @virginmedia , why are there constant issues in my area that result in me losing my broadband connection for hours? Why am I not compensated for these successive service interruption? How can you offer such a poor quality service?

  • CoopsSuzy Suzy Coops (@CoopsSuzy) reported

@virginmedia awful experience. I upgraded, waited 3 weeks for my package @yodel have not resolved! Today called up @virginmedia to resolve 1hr later virgin added an extra install fee onto the upgrade and now its costing me more for the same package that never arrived! Shocking 🤯
