Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Ampfield, England@virginmedia @NetflixUK You may as well not have a customer services team. I’ve spoken to one helpful person in the 53 days I’ve been chasing Virgin for my install.
-
Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England@virginmedia OK — you need to do better at this — I shouldn’t be wasting my time telling you there is a problem — you should know this before I do and tell me without going through tests — it’s clearly affecting multiple users
-

-
Jason Kneen (@jasonkneen) reported from Ludgershall, England@virginmedia jesus christ, I’m going around in circles on your instant chat — logged in yet having to confirm my name and all my details, can you stop using these annoying bots that do nothing to help? Wasting so much time.
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia After waiting 24hrs for a response on WhatsApp I’ve once again been told I need to talk to another department. I waste more time waiting to speak with the “correct” department, only to be told they can’t help because of a third party completing the work. Absolute joke
-
bri parker (@JESUSSPEAKS1968) reported from North Baddesley, England@AndreaR88604321 @fogarty_oliver @virginmedia @MAP_PM Whilst they take money from you and continue to deliver a crap service. Worst broadband company ever.
-
chris Keano keane (@CoachkeanoChris) reported from Amesbury, EnglandVirginmedia are an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Been trying to get hold of them all day, but all they do is use the excuse that Covid 19 is causing staffing problems. They have just doubled My Dad's bill, without any explanation and it's causing a great deal of stress. 😞
-
chris (@crumblechris) reported from Winchester, England@virginmedia Can you update the website to stop giving out false information? If you know there are ‘some issues’ can you tell me what they are - that alone is a helpful update….
-
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England@virginmedia The same live date of the 21st still stands. Virgin have repeatedly guaranteed they’ll get it ready for then. Perhaps you can give them a nudge to let them know they have 3 days to get the outside work done. I’m sensing another let down, and I bet you won’t do anything about it!
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
d f (@ToddCoxeter) reported@Shiv_who_burns @virginmedia Rude, no? I swear that, for Virgin, mumbling in accents in a noisy call centre is a deliberate tactic. Anyhow. I switched to basically a business broadband. It's both a bit dear, and cheaper than those pirates.
-
NataliaWilson92 (@NataliaKallai) reported@virginmedia can you tell me why I had one of your employees hang up on me abruptly today after speaking to me like utter rubbish when I confirmed I would be cancelling my contract. Complete and utter obnoxious ignorance.
-
Phil (@Bowtomephil) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia The worst of it is that the 28m fine will not be distributed to all those it affected. OFCOM will use it to pay their CEO etc a large bonus.
-
Chris Mullan (@ericthecatmk2) reported@Ofcom I had this problem with Virgin Media 4 years ago and told them the reason I'd never go back to them was because how difficult they'd made it for me to leave them. Months of stress
-
Nichola (@Nic_Nic88) reported@virginmedia been in chat with yourselves for nearly an hour to be disconnected and no resolution
-
Amy McManus (@BluemoonAmy) reported@virginmedia Had no broadband service since Tuesday evening. Service update showed fix yesterday by 16:07, then today at 16:07 and now tomorrow at 16:07. Totally unacceptable. When will this be sorted. M46.

-
Dan Phillips (@DanCPhillips) reported@Ofcom Virgin media has been awful to deal with for as long as I can remember, it's ridiculous that it has taken this long.
-
Owen Luckhurst (@DoctorDisco63) reported@MartinSLewis @MartinSLewis hearing about Virgin Media today I’m not surprised. They did the same to me around 2020, except they lied to me about my cancellation date. By the time I called to cancel, they said it was too late. So I disconnected everything and didn’t pay them a penny more.
-
Addy (@iadnan9) reported@virginmedia Virgin Media fined £28m over 'deliberately dropping calls' and putting people on hold 'for no reason' Customers trying to cancel or switch were routinely put through the wringer by Virgin's customer service agents, an investigation by the regulator has found.
