    @TomMockridgeVM, Been a @virginmedia customer for 7 years — now on the M500 package and paying a hefty fee per month for broadband, phone and TV. Have had shocking upload speeds today (0.5mbps instead of 38mbps). Status page says fine — run test says not. Thread 1/3

    @virginmedia Hi - I have done this and it doesn’t work. The broadband has been down since midnight and there seems to be thousands of other people with the same issue. It looks to be a fault your end. Please instigate a fix.

    @virginmedia and just like that, 522 and 0.73mbps again. How do I book an engineer @virginmedia? — I’ve done all the checks; rebooted my network; the hub, I’ve tested on multiple devices WiFi, Wired; direct from the hub and the problem remains — drop outs, poor upload speeds.

    @virginmedia OK — you need to do better at this — I shouldn’t be wasting my time telling you there is a problem — you should know this before I do and tell me without going through tests — it’s clearly affecting multiple users

    @virginmedia @vinceverrier Yes they can do a deal for you. Option 1 is pay loads and get a rubbish service. Option 2 is pay less and get a rubbish service. Difficult choice I know.

    @virginmedia Yes it states there is no problem within the area but to be honest thats not surprising as people wont be able to report it easy with the app and website not working. Plus everytime there has been a wider issue it tends to state no known issue anyway.

    @virginmedia I appreciate you trying to help, but honestly I've stopped caring. The router is down, the service status checker is down, please stop asking the customer and instead ask your infrastructure team what has gone wrong over the last few months.

    @virginmedia And for the whole time had not been receiving the service we had been paying for tried to get back in touch with cancellation team was told constantly I would be called back no-one called back in the end flipped and told them to just cancel and sort out compensation
