    @TomMockridgeVM, Been a @virginmedia customer for 7 years — now on the M500 package and paying a hefty fee per month for broadband, phone and TV. Have had shocking upload speeds today (0.5mbps instead of 38mbps). Status page says fine — run test says not. Thread 1/3

    @virginmedia Hi - I have done this and it doesn’t work. The broadband has been down since midnight and there seems to be thousands of other people with the same issue. It looks to be a fault your end. Please instigate a fix.

    @virginmedia and just like that, 522 and 0.73mbps again. How do I book an engineer @virginmedia? — I’ve done all the checks; rebooted my network; the hub, I’ve tested on multiple devices WiFi, Wired; direct from the hub and the problem remains — drop outs, poor upload speeds.

    @virginmedia I spent hours and hours on the phone and web chat, have had to purchase a separate answerphone for £60 because my request was not done. No call back from a manager which I was promised. The webchat was ridiculous, service over the phone even worse. Will be leaving ASAP.

    @virginmedia Hi we were told they would send an engineer, next Tuesday. We asked to escalate and when we rang the number we had hold music for an hour and twenty minutes before the call dropped. Its very poor!

    @virginmedia I am in SE22. Broadband on our road has been regularly cutting out since your ‘essential works’ in ‘the area’ on 15th July. Raised the issue, and was told it had been fixed on 28th July. But it has continued. It has now been a further month & problem still continues

    @virginmedia So there's no way of being able to access the Premier league game on BT Sport 5 tonight which is the one I want to watch? Bit unfair given all other games are available and is part of the subscription. Surely something can be done to provide this (a temp login for BT Sport app?!)

    @virginmedia my broadband regularly has no connection. It happens 2-3 times a week and cuts off for hours at a time. How do I go about getting compensation as it’s a bit ridiculous that I have to pay full price for an inconsistent service?
