When you are web-chatting to the @virginmedia customer services team about wifi connectivity and their insightful questions are basically how do you connect to WiFi - well through the WiFi obviously!!! 1/2

@EveryNextDream @virginmedia I’ve had issues with their customer service for years. I worked for them part time whilst at uni when they were “Telewest”, and went through the whole Virgin take over. We all knew it was doomed from that moment. I’ll be leaving when contract is up.

@virginmedia ...before you can do anything. Was told that we couldn’t even talk to anyone from cancellation department...until we either paid or went through collections department. There was/is no care for what has happened...just “give us some money and we’ll help”

@virginmedia We have tried that route also...they weren’t any help either. Absolutely no one is willing to listen to us or the actual facts of what has happened to us. It would be good if someone could actually call us and try to help

@virginmedia you have taken £162 out my account without my permission ...... that is stealing . I spoke to a girl today and told me yes it was virgins mistake but she can’t return the money I told her I wanted to cancel and she said it would cost me £490 .... this is wrong

@virginmedia Thanks for the generic answer. You haven't got my name or location but you're aware of the problem, clever people!!! Your service checker is for broadband only, therefore won't work for a mobile outage. I'm no further forward and without coms for nearly 48hrs now. Great service!!

@virginmedia Morning folks. I have no data on my virgin mobile SIM for some reason - is this a known problem. I've tried restarting my phone, turning on and off airplane mode. It was working fine until around 08:30 today. I've travelled since then so not just one cell tower.

@virginmedia Not just gaming but streaming. When the speeds drop from 60mbs to 4mbs down and 20mbs to 0.5mbs over a WiFi mesh system..there's clearly a problem
