    @kev21261 @mrdanwalker The fact that many people Iive in poverty is not a reason to abolish the BBC licence fee. A commercial service, would be far more expensive and provide far less content (just look at Sky, Virgin Media and BT Sport). And funding through adverts would reduce the income for ITV & C4

    More @virginmedia issues again this evening. I have no broadband. Website says no TV but broadband is ok. Not for me. Honestly I paid for 3 months when I wasn’t in the UK. When I return to the UK, I’ve had more issues than it’s worked! Surely I need some refund now?!

    And broadband gone down again this afternoon @virginmedia. Will these intermittent outages be sorted after BH weekend? Not always looking at my phone so no idea of it’s been on and off all day. I imagine yes. Why is @BBCNews only reporting the Vodafone broadband issues?

    @virginmedia This has crashed again although no lights on any of the boxes or pod - try to call and can’t get through - try to use the app to see if there is an outage and that isn’t working either….sort it out as trying to WFH

    @virginmedia Since receiving and installing my new router to support my 1Gigabit Fibre contract my TV on both V6 boxes intermittently freezes and not always on same channel. Is this a coincidence? Do the v6 boxes need an upgrade? I have done the usual reboot etc

    1st call to @virginmedia resulted in a price (when renegotiating my contract). 2nd call (I was cut off) resulted in a higher price. "Why?" Answer: different agents have different "discounts" to offer customers.. wtf? How d'ya get through to the agent with the biggest discounts???

    @virginmedia such a terrible broadband speed! Pay for 350mb and get about 15mb! Can’t get through to customer services at all! Trying to run a business at home with these speeds is impossible! Everyone in the area says the same so sort it out Virgin Media!!!
