@virginmedia When I am advised by City Fibre when the service is going live I will then choose an alternative supplier all of which will be cheaper than Virgin and then advise when I would want your service disconnected

@virginmedia offers social tariff of £12.50 for 15mb which is slow. Better option almost anyone with BT £12.50 for 36mb and Vodafone £12.50 for 38mb. Virgin also has £20 for 54mb but is higher price than most others offering same.

@virginmedia Having just looked at model photos it's the Hub 4 I have, set to Modem Mode. The connection drop problem is with the Hub itself (the solid white ring light then starts glowing to show it is "connecting"), so the connection drop affects both wired and wireless connections.

@virginmedia can anyone in the UK retentions department actually listen to a call and call a customer back? I've tried calling this morning to check progress after more than 2 weeks and the people answering the phone can't understand what I'm asking I've been hung up on 3 times

@virginmedia So we're we're updated last night informing you'd come today 21st, nobody arrived. Called to check and now informed it will now be the 26th! I have a vulnerable person in the property and wish I hadn't called to fix the pixelation on the TV as you've made everything worse.
