@virginmedia If you do not fix the #FuryWhyte fight by 7:30pm, I will cancel my subscription and go to @sky as they seem to be able to hold up their end of a contract.

  • StevenPHartley
StevenHartleyonline (@StevenPHartley) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@wingealot @virginmedia Don’t sign up with this group . That’s my advice I’ve been with them for a while. Customer service is beyond awful

  • SteveRoots1
Steve Roots (@SteveRoots1) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@virginmedia your level of service doesn't get any better. 45 minutes on the phone, passed from pillar to post and all points in between and you still won't come and remove your illegally fitted equipment. I wouldn't recommend you if you were the only company on earth. #poor

@virginmedia You just turned up at my fathers door 6 months after you uninstalled your service following my mother’s death to collect your equipment which you took with you when it was uninstalled. Your rep (David Khan) was very rude to him.

  • MarcusNovius
MNovius (@MarcusNovius) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@virginmedia hello your phone doesn't get answered, the chat bot doesn't work. How can I do the one thing everyone wants to do at the end of their fibre deal- either cancel or get a new deal? #broadband #Useless

  • bigben9696
Gingerbread Man (@bigben9696) reported from Rainham, England

@virginmedia no Internet and the website down....have you tried turning yourself off and on again?

  • TMFeeG
THE FEE MG! 👩🏻 (@TMFeeG) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia No he is NOT! I have called and logged the complaint. Your rep who came to the door around an hour ago was extremely rude. I am utterly disgusted that he could treat an elderly partially deaf gentleman this way. Had I not witnessed it for myself I may not have believed it.

  • jooz282
Julie McCarthy (@jooz282) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia problems with the boxing again tonight - paid for @anthonyfjoshua fight and keep getting pixelated picture and channel going off air entirely - is it being sorted?

  • troyaaron
Troy Williams (@troyaaron) reported from Sittingbourne, England

@virginmedia I've been in an online chat for nearly 2 hours today just to arrange transfer of services to my new house. I've led the conversation entirely. I'm not even going to report the CMs identity. Just wanted you to know how bad the experience was.

  • onearmedjohn
Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia This is so tiresome I have complained so many times about slow broadband speed, unreliable WiFi, terrible TV services & only after threatening to leave did you send an engineer in July. This made it a little better, but recently it’s been unreliable of an evening.

  • mrbison66
Rob Strudwick (@mrbison66) reported from Tonbridge, England

@virginmedia No decent broadband service for 3 days in TN9 area why does your website say all OK!

  • onearmedjohn
Onearmedjohn (@onearmedjohn) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia No and there’s no point. You’ve had two years to fix this. I’m not paying any more and you can sue me. See you in court.

  • TMFeeG
THE FEE MG! 👩🏻 (@TMFeeG) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia This is not what happened. It was taken away by the engineer who came to uninstall it 6 months ago! He also cut through the phone line and we have had 6 months of issues trying to get phone line installed. Open Reach have been amazing! I am disgusted with the attitude of VM rep

  • ExonJane
Jane Exon (@ExonJane) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia I have been trying to cancel my subscription (first year ended in Sept) for weeks. In the end I gave up and cancelled my direct debit... suddenly I’m contacted! Could we please talk please

  • Twiterteroo
Twiterteroo (@Twiterteroo) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia Folks, amuse me, why on earth would I or anyone complete a survey after leaving you when you couldn’t deal with the issue within 2 months and dare I say the plus 20 years we had an undiagnosed fault!?

  • davemole85
Dave Jones (@davemole85) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@virginmedia how can I have a download speed of over 200mps but my upload speed is 0.5 mps. Shocking service recently

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • UpTheVibration
England My Country I Love You (@UpTheVibration) reported

@jomickane @Benleo @virginmedia I've always found them to be really good, been with them years, never a problem, broadband connection is great - we're high usage, and this year they even emailed me to let me know they were keeping my existing discount when my contract was up, I usually renegotiate each time

  • PaulAllen007
    Sir Paul A (@PaulAllen007) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Wait til you try and cancel or move house. They are the absolute pits. Never use Virgin Media people

  • TessaOutlook
    TessaRestoreBritain🇬🇧🇮🇪 (@TessaOutlook) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia You should speak to @dshensmith about this, he's had some issues himself with these companies but to do with phones. He might be able to give some advice obviously not legal or watch his videos if you haven't very good information in them

  • MartHarrison
    Martin Harrison (@MartHarrison) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Yeah…the internet speed was great but the rest was totally awful based on my only experience with them…when asked I tell folk to avoid them👍

  • rsole1212
    Bob holness (@rsole1212) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Vodafone is very good for internet, we've got it. Never had a problem and if you've got a Vodafone phone you get discount I think.

  • georgehomiltonx
    George Homilton (@georgehomiltonx) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia After multiple calls to their call centres in recent months I have come to the conclusion that their agents run a competition to see who can get a customer the angriest and an award is given at the end of the month.

  • Haxter000
    𝕷𝖞𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇬🇧 (@Haxter000) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia I was the same, am I getting a refund for no service 🤔 I doubt it...

  • Krisstoffe50821
    Krisstoffer Jukes (@Krisstoffe50821) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia I have Starlink and although it is a little dearer, I have confidence in its service. No cables to the receiver only from it to the house. Go for it Ben.

  • kunsbannedhair
    Gazza (@kunsbannedhair) reported

@jomickane @Benleo @virginmedia I know you may doubt my sincerity, These jokers are just as bad

  • ACforReformUK
    AndyC (@ACforReformUK) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia This "quality" service is endemic in the UK these days, there's no accountability, if you got £50 for every aborted attempt, you can bet they'd get it done 1st time every time. OFCOM should punish these firms with huge fines and bring in accountability, otherwise this will just go on.
