40 minutes on hold (so far)for @virginmedia’ customer service. Whilst loads of online options to “solve your problem” when you get through on the phone and told they need to transfer my call, you do hope they are on the case! Why did I ever leave Sky - a false economy

... I mean I know why. Its a dark design pattern that makes people give up - and hopefully for @virginmedia, by ticking over to the next day there's a good chance someone would fall into the next billing cycle before they can cancel. Super scummy.
