@virginmedia Great ring the number that has been absolutely shocking from day 1 or wait 28 days for Virgin to answer a complaint I have been trying to resolve for 10 days currently on phone with customer service but wont let me speak to a manger absolutely s*** from @virginmedia @BBCWatchdog

  • StevenPHartley
StevenHartleyonline (@StevenPHartley) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

Just in case anyone is thinking of signing up to @virginmedia before Christmas. Don’t! They are an appalling service company. I know I am with them. But not for much longer.

@virginmedia As a virgin customer, Uswitch says I have the right to quit if I inform you before the 15th Feb (after price hike). I have now just phoned and you have now said it was the tenth!? What is it please?

  • elise_john85
Elise (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

Awesome, so effectively @virginmedia raise current loyal customers prices to fund the discount new customers can get in their sale. Roll on buying my own house and not being tied to them anymore. 12 years of this crap!

  • MarcusNovius
MNovius (@MarcusNovius) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@Matt_Goss @virginmedia I've reached the WhatsApp stage! It's like some stupid maze just to get to the same result as I started with...

  • PcPresenter
PCPresenter (@PcPresenter) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia If you do not fix the #FuryWhyte fight by 7:30pm, I will cancel my subscription and go to @sky as they seem to be able to hold up their end of a contract.

  • elise_john85
Elise 💉💉💉💉 (@elise_john85) reported from Maidstone, England

@virginmedia How do I find out what the service address is that you are using as you seem you be saying that the billing address means nothing

  • MikeBuckley2
Michael Buckley (@MikeBuckley2) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia I am trying to access live chat as I have blackspots in house and would like WiFi boosters from Virgin. I have 200 Mbps but am getting only 20mbps in bedroom. Cannot find live chat on sites other than loads of help pages. Really frustrating

  • LauraBaalham
Laura Underhill (@LauraBaalham) reported from Snodland, England

@virginmedia Absolute rubbish. Try calling to speak to someone...no answer. Try online...email address is completely different to my account. Date of last bill&account details don’t match. Complete load of crap. Won’t be paying my bill so at least someone will contact me 🤬

  • hungoverdrawn
Robert Shaw (@hungoverdrawn) reported from Wainscott, England

@virginmedia It's started working this morning after 24 hours down, bit strange that your website said there were no service issues anywhere 😒 I guess I'll cancel that engineer visit now.

  • CaroleWinter
Carole Winter (@CaroleWinter) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@virginmedia Hi VM, I ordered a replacement remote control for my TIVO box. Just realised that was a couple of months ago but it never came. When trying online again it says as I’ve had one within six months I can’t order another. Please check that the first was ever sent, thanks

  • DronePilotGeoff
Geoff Watkins (@DronePilotGeoff) reported from Gillingham, England

@fasurveyors @virginmedia I have to say; I’m normally pretty pleased with @virginmedia internet. It’s normally fast and reliable. But last couple of days has been awful. It’s getting too expensive as well

  • polhilljim
Rochester Boy. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 (@polhilljim) reported from Rochester, England

@virginmedia This is a long story. But Virgin have changed my IMEI number making a second repair not possible. My account is down and even Virgin can't access it. I've been promised calls back several times but they've not happened. The litany of Virgin failures is impossible to put in a text

  • MarcusNovius
MNovius (@MarcusNovius) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

@virginmedia I've been trying this morning via the phone, online chat and WhatsApp, all I get is robots going in a loop. This is daft I don't want to leave but the only option is to cancel!

  • Twiterteroo
Twiterteroo (@Twiterteroo) reported from Gillingham, England

@virginmedia Folks, amuse me, why on earth would I or anyone complete a survey after leaving you when you couldn’t deal with the issue within 2 months and dare I say the plus 20 years we had an undiagnosed fault!?

@obbsie @virginmedia Everyone I know who used to be with @virginmedia has moved to another provider having experienced the same rubbish service you're getting. Banged on my door a few weeks ago, got sent packing, told the sales person I'd rather go totally offline than use them

@virginmedia Any update on this issue as anything in the virginmedia store when you try and load it up it freezes. There is a TV issue in service status it says it should have been resolved yesterday. My area reference is 031. Thanks

@Benleo @virginmedia I’m having the same issues with them

  • PercivalPeabody
    Steve Hard (@PercivalPeabody) reported

@Benleo In the end, I wasn't prepared to waste my time trying to get blood from a stone, so I called my bank to report it as fraud. Whether they put it down as fraud or not, I don't know, but they knew all about Virgin Media and did a chargeback for me.

  • snipsy1
    John Parsons (@snipsy1) reported

@RobRollin2 @virginmedia Yes 2026 and only guarantee speeds for a wired connection. Signal strength has got lower with new routers generating extra revenue whilst customers suffer and pay

  • Mccartney2Phil
    Phil NSNO (@Mccartney2Phil) reported

@virginmedia there has been issues with the set top/TV since May 18th and it's still not fixed...why ?

  • IamCarrieagain

@virginmedia My issue is you turned off my working router. I'm disabled and you turned off my service.

  • MDeLaBroc1
Michael De La Broc (@MDeLaBroc1) reported

@Benleo @virginmedia Last MARCH I went in store to enquire about a new, better priced broadband contract or to disconnect. I was going abroad for at the time, but wanted something better when I got back, I was sold on a new contract. Apparently my previous account should have been closed there and then. In September my service is cut off with no explanation, I do most of my work online so this is obviously bad, I got in contact, turns out my direct debit was still going to the supposedly cancelled account, not the current one, for the next three months I have a never ending series of chats on the phone or online chatbot to try and figure out what is going on. I can't log into virgin media online, because the credentials I used, take me to a placeholder screen, because the account is deleted or something, I don't know, no one can tell me. I go abroad in December, come back in January, same problem, the internet is disconnected for ''non payment'', all payments, are still, going to a an account that was supposed to be deleted or merged into my current one a year ago. every other month I am having to redo the same chat on their chatbot, followed by a customer complaints phonecall with some arrogant Indian who barely speaks English and doesn't understand what I am trying to tell him. And every month this goes on for, they are charging me a £7 late fee and even letter saying the price for the contract I am barely receiving service from is going up due to inflation. Truly is an absolute travesty this company, I am just going to cut the entire thing loose and go to StarLink the next time this happens, which I expect will be in two weeks going by the near monthly disconnects I am put through
