@Ben76593214 @virginmedia Where are you getting these “rumours” or are you making it up? Granted Virgin are unhelpful in communicating & keep moving the resolution time (but not until it’s almost reached)

  • AnneWebb777
Anne Webb (@AnneWebb777) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia @briamjam Here to help??? Is this a joke?

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia This is still appalling customer service. I have to register (I did this when things were down in Dec for almost 72 hours), I have to alert etc you are the service provider. How is it good CS that we assume you are lying in estimates? No compensation for Dec either.

  • ibikebrighton
Mark Strong (@ibikebrighton) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

Hey @virginmedia any news on internet outage in #Brighton BN2?

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia Looked for a moment like it was back, both the TiVo and router self restarted - is this meant to happen as part of work that may be being done?, unfortunately hasn’t resulted in restoration of service. Confirmed on service page it’s still an outage in the area

  • ChloeWhytee
    Chloe⚪️ (@ChloeWhytee) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia hi, I’ve tried to contact via chat as I can’t call and I wait about an hour then give up, is there anyway someone can help me on here?

  • rafthemaster
Richard Frame (@rafthemaster) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@dazzleeds @virginmedia That’s because the router will auto connect without password to show you a diagnostics page to let you self test for issues (no good here as it’s on VM side) once service is back the router will resume normal security mode

  • barbados10
chris rose (@barbados10) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia very quick to take £130 per month for services but very slow to fix it when things go wrong let’s check for Sky! #customerservice #unhappycustomer #bringbackRichardBranson

  • CharlesB2T
Charles Brittain (@CharlesB2T) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia how do I simply cancel my account on a chosen date? It seems impossible to arrange this on your website or app.

  • logically_fuzzy

@virginmedia no WiFi, phone or TV in Brighton BN2 Causing major problems with work What's the problem and when can it be fixed? I can't afford to miss any more work

  • melon_h
Helen Rimmer 💙 🔶️ (@melon_h) reported from Burgess Hill, England

@virginmedia But why do we have to keep looking for information. Is there no way of updating the customer directly, it is appalling customer communication. What is the problem? Why just keep putting estimates? If it isn't going to be fixed for 48 hours tell us.

  • indiointernet
Brian Roe (@indiointernet) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia Service outage back again! No TV, no broadband, no landline, can't work, can't go out because of the pandemic. Being as polite as I can, I have to say, your service is utter shite.

  • dianepatching
Diane Patching (@dianepatching) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia Can you please advise when I can watch Paramount + through VM? I ring and liaise with your advisors through “Chat” and get told it’s on channel 150. Well it isn’t. No where can I find this channel. No one can offer me any help as to where this channel is located.

3/4 T&Cs: Moving home outside of or within the Virgin Media Network service area “If you move within our service area, we cannot guarantee to provide you services, if we are unable to provide services, then you can cancel and you will not need to pay an early disconnection fee”

  • garypleece
Gary Pleece (@garypleece) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@virginmedia Called and no issues. It has to be equipment, right? There’s an option to ‘test hub’ on that link but it just goes to an invalid page. I’ve been patient for a few weeks now, but I’m finding it hard to remain so! Trying to work like this is impossible

  • churchlard
Churchlard (@churchlard) reported from Sompting, England

@virginmedia @52marathonman They are useless, had an installation due on Wednesday of this week, they emailed me Wednesday morning to say they couldn’t instal as they had been unable to gain access on Monday. Never did they mention needing access on Monday, and I was home all day and no one rang bell!!

  • indiointernet
Brian Roe (@indiointernet) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

Looks like @virginmedia is down in the #brighton BN1 area. Service status says back on lune at 22:45. great timing @virginmedia, nice one, really appreciate the inconvenience.

  • rhock1979
richard hocking (@rhock1979) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@virginmedia How can we get money back from this issue or will you credit all the customers who got virgin tv etc due to what happened

  • Luciddestiny
Warren Ryan Philips (@Luciddestiny) reported from Shoreham-by-Sea, England

@brooktop68 @virginmedia @bridgetmck We’ve turned the Superhub to Modem Mode and picked up separate WiFi routers. Resolved most of our issues immediately and we rarely get drop outs. Invest in a decent router or Mesh, you won’t regret it.

  • alternativeage
Alternative Ageing (@alternativeage) reported from Saltdean, England

@virginmedia I have it for years and was told it was quite old by techies improving my signal around the house (AMPLIFI ) But if there isn't anything else, so be it. Many thanks .
