@virginmedia My partner spoke to your customer service team today without much resolution. Suggested we need a booster or a better bundle. Not sure that’s the best answer, given the price we are paying. And service was A1 for 12 months until about 4 weeks ago. There must be a reason for this.

@laurahiggins_ @virginmedia Honestly, I know it’s a first world problem, but if the taps didn’t provide water when you turned them on there would be outrage. With broadband it just seems all the companies in #Exeter get away with it. We tried BT before and they were #pants

Jackie Kelly (@JackieKellySW) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia As per many comments in this thread I have suffered at the hands of terrible VM customer service. Employees don’t seem to have the tools to do a decent job. So many pillars & posts to be passed between. VM ok when it works but if you need help...

@virginmedia Hi, service status says broadband is all good, which it is now, but at midnight it'll go down for a period of time, while I'm either playing ps4 online or we're streaming a movie 🙁

Laura Anne Reidy (@LauraAnneReidy) reported
@virginmedia Two agents promised to reconnect them and I have emailed someone but with no success. I have advised them to ring the disconnections team asap, as I would not put up with this service. The company are just taking advantage of their age and good nature.

Anonymous Gypsy Actor (@AnonRomaActor) reported
@virginmedia I need direct contact, as otherwise I’ll have no issue but to go through legal proceedings. I’m not going to speak to the call centres again after they verbally abused me?
-
Phil (@Phil_ps4_gamer) reported
@virginmedia Hi, it used to be just some nights, but over the last two weeks it's been every night just after midnight. If it was only for a few minutes it wouldn't matter, but sometimes it's hours, so if watching a movie we never know if it's worth waiting for it to come back up or not.
-
Sam Rolfe (@drgoinggrey) reported
@GeorgieMurphy94 @virginmedia No reply to tweets about it and you can't get through when you call either because some of their call centres are shut because of covid....for reasons. With people working from home you would think broadband companies would be busier, not shutting down....
