Apologies if my tweets with Virgin Media have landed in your timeline this evening. They couldn’t DM me and all other avenues of complaint have failed.

  • saints76 Chris Wright (@saints76) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia Just when I thought you'd fixed it, it goes wrong.....was working fine during the day. Busy times your service is shocking. I've now got the same message.... insufficient bandwidth.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia Follow me and I will send you my account number by DM. Someone just needs to look at the call notes and text notes to determine my complaint. I’ve already used web chat.

  • ScottPalfrey Scott Palfrey (@ScottPalfrey) reported from Exeter District, England

@PhilPpauk @virginmedia Seriously it’s been 24 hours of terrible service now 😭 you’d think they would have decent infrastructure from the billions they make each year

  • humanenergy5 humanenergy (@humanenergy5) reported from Exeter District, England

@reece_dinsdale @virginmedia Yes up every three months now. Call responses have always been poor.

  • EmmaOrca1971 Em J Hamilton (@EmmaOrca1971) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia Issues with TV in EX4 area. Losing signal every few seconds. WiFi keeps going off, not good when working from home. And I get to pay over £110 a month for this!

  • ShonaClarke9 Shona Clarke (@ShonaClarke9) reported from Newton Abbot, England

Not happy with Virgin Media at the moment. No WiFi since Saturday. Tried calling and got nowhere as the call centre is closed. Don't need this during self isolation. Does anyone else have this problem. Not good enough Virgin Media.

  • mrmattscott82 Matt Scott (@mrmattscott82) reported from Exeter District, England

Hey it's not news! @virginmedia has been down more than on today and a fair bit the last few weeks too

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia Hi. Following up the comment above. I have heard nothing from the team. Your complaint handling process is broken.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@WhichUK Thread below a snapshot of my frustration with Virgin Media customer care & their complaint handling process.

  • ScottPalfrey Scott Palfrey (@ScottPalfrey) reported from Exeter District, England

  • kathytomlinson_ Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Exeter District, England

@virginmedia Hello, it was a GDPR complaint after my address for my virgin media account was sent to a different account holder.

  • kathytomlinson_ Kathy Tomlinson (@kathytomlinson_) reported from Newton Poppleford and Harpford, England

@virginmedia My second complaint was forwarded straight onto them and I never heard anything back. I will try and email them directly myself, thank you

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia It is hard to complain. I just want to send an email but cannot find how to do this. I do not want to speak to your call centre or use the live text - both routes have failed to respond to complaint. Only other method is to send in a physical letter.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia Full details re my complaint should be on your records (telephone & web chat). In short appalling customer service making it v difficult for me to resolve issues. I have also complained about your complaint handling. I’m fed up having to explain what my complaint is about.

  • nuggyleach Amanda Leach (@nuggyleach) reported from Exeter District, England

@Peter_Follett @virginmedia Try TalkTalk. I left a Virgin £80 per month 'Faster Fibre' TV + phone package in December. Connection always dropping..Had no problems with our internet since and now pay £35 capped for 24 mths! Plus their live chat is much quicker than trying to get hold of Virgin!

  • Owen_TwoTwos Owen (@Owen_TwoTwos) reported from Borough of Torbay, England

@virginmedia All sorted, went down for about 4 hours in total yesterday then came back up.

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

@virginmedia I’m complaining about the difficulty & time taken to resolve an issue. Being on the helpline for over 2 hrs, being passed on numerous times, each time going thru security, each time explaining issue, people not calling back when promised, complaint not addressed. feel powerless.

  • ScottPalfrey Scott Palfrey (@ScottPalfrey) reported from Exeter District, England

Working from home is even more of a challenge when @virginmedia cuts in and out and is as slow as a snail! Gahhhhh

  • MElcoate Martin Elcoate (@MElcoate) reported from Topsham, England

Dear @virginmedia, I rarely take to social media to complain however attempts to make a formal complaint via telephone “help”line & via online chat have failed. Your customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Your complaint handling process is also broken. @WhichUK

@virginmedia Hi VirginMedia, I've been waiting 6 months for a complaint response now, you closed it initially due to taking too long to respond to me (strange process?) then re-opened it in 04/05/2021 - you are not adhering to process. Please give me a telephone number to call!

  • LeonPakiry Leon Pakiry/DJ LP (@LeonPakiry) reported

@virginmedia Really bad service received, cancelled service and provided new address. Had to chase up refund a month after over payment taken, and 15 days later had to chase up refund cheque. Cheque been sent to old address and now been told to check there for it?? 😩🤬

@virginmedia It says everything is working on my end. But clearly something isn't working with Virgin media services if it keeps cutting off every 5 minutes. My friend who lives 2 miles away from me is having same problem too. I can't get my work done, and kids can't play or watch online!

  • KeeleyOF101 Keeley O'Flaherty (@KeeleyOF101) reported

@virginmedia No I do not, she has been on the phone all morning and received absolutely no help why is she paying for a TV service if she cannot watch it and when she asked for somebody to come and look at it they say not our problem signal is probably not strong enough in your area

  • J_D2k Jungle Dave (@J_D2k) reported

@virginmedia Ok thanks, turning back to my issue, is there any way an engineer can come before Tues? As originally it was meant to be Sat

  • jjh jjh (@jjh) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia I’ve given Virgin ample opportunity to fix this. I now intend to take legal action. All I’m asking is which of 2 public address you want to be served notice at. Why can’t you answer that in public?
