@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK I make a complaint and get transferred to the business department again where I have to go through the whole thing from scratch that I’m not a business customer and I’m just there because I need accessible statements! Advisor tells me he can easily transfer me if I pay £120!

@Amalkadog @VodafoneUK We were both with @VodafoneUK for years - private and business contracts. We needed help from them with a connectivity issue. They wouldn't help and wouldn't release us from our contracts. Will never use them again.

And all this hassle because @VodafoneUK contacted me about switching to a full fibre service. I should have stayed on my existing connection.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It's seemingly standard business practice for any subscription model service, make it far too much effort to leave so you just pay. Its a seriously poor part of consumer rights that needs to be made much better. You should be able to cancel for any reason at any time

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Shut ******** up and deal with it like a man rather than crying like a *****

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’m so sorry your family have had to deal with this. We’ve had a similar situation with them, been trying to cancel since last August and had letters from a debt collecting agency. Their systems are appalling but that takes no account of the rudeness of staff.

Bernie Reddington
(@Bernie_Bus) reported
@GeorgeMonbiot @GdVikki @VodafoneUK Another complaint! My daughter is transferred to a normal account, but two months later still money is coming out so I end the Direct debit as I don’t see why she should be paying at the same time as me for exactly the same number!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK @VodafoneUK are a scummy company. All their systems are purposefully disjointed to cause maximum frustration to customers and allows no-one at that company to take ownership of customer problems.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK As a general rule of thumb when big corporates are tough to navigate contact the ceo, I now have have 18 months free Wi-Fi because I lodged a ceo complaint. Can usually find a ceo email address with a bit of searching on Google.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Liars. Your strategy is to treat your customers badly and make the process of approaching "customer service" so costly in terms of time and patience that they give up. THE worst company I have ever dealt with.
