@VodafoneUK That’s a lie! I called up on monday (whilst waiting for my order) as the link i was sent to ‘upgrade now’ let me go all the way through to payment and never once mentioned out of stock or a delay. You may have changed that now but that was always the case!

@VodafoneUK shocking, no customer service. Emailed CEO Nick Jeffrey & his CEO team also not helpful. Woeful from the top down, cannot resolve a simple issue.

@VodafoneUK spoke to someone online this evening about upgrading. Service was fine, but when I said I was going to also contact @CPWTweets as they had some good deals, I was just told basically "Ok", no trying to keep me as a customer or anything. 🤔

First impressions of @VodafoneUK #5G... Underwhelming and somehow still slower than @virginmedia's #4G (in B15). With Vodafone downloading at just 40Mbps and Virgin Mobile coming in at 70Mbps. So to summarise. Slow to roll out, and slower than 4G when it does appear. Not good.

And @VodafoneUK even your CEO complaints department agreed on a recorded phone call that it was ridiculous l, but it’s process. Well here’s an idea look at the process and think of the customer maybe.

@Kris_Robb @VodafoneUK Same here! Woke this morning to have an email saying ‘sorry, out if stock’ even though i was assured it would be here on the day of release. Poor management. Also, blaming Apple is ridiculous when other providers haven’t had the same issue.

@GeorgeMonbiot @Dr4OurNHS @VodafoneUK Many companies behave like this. Customer Services hardly work at all in any service industry these days. Sorry you went through it. We had a lot of problems with a utility company. Useless.
-
Neil Weaver

@TrudieMaxim @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I did exactly the same with Talk Talk, had exactly the same issues, searched for CEO Email, Emailed Dido Harding directly sorted in super fast time bless her cotton socks. It's mainly due,to Arse Holes unwilling to take responsibility. This happens in Industry all the time.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’ve been here before, with Sky TV. Only one solution: send them ONE message/text asking to END your subscription. IMMEDIATELY stop your direct debit. You will eventually get a debt-collector letter, and the debt agent WILL talk to you, and resolve it. Money talks...

@VodafoneUK @DialsWine Your use of the wave emoji isn't cute, we know it's your sad attempt of "being polite" whilst actually giving the finger. Please maybe don't if you actually want to keep customers. We aren't that stupid. 👋
-

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We had the same problem with Orange a decade ago, demanding a death certificate I’d sent to them twice. They were incredibly apologetic after setting debt collectors onto a dead woman, but the damage was done.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t surprise me at all. My mother died in 2003 and trying to close her BT landline account was a nightmare. The person I spoke to kept saying “we need to speak to the customer”! Finally I went into the BT sales centre saw a charming lady and in 20 minutes I had finished.

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Vodaphone have history in poor cust. care. Brdband same poor service. tests via app say I have a problem, but never tell you exactly what it is, and you end up in a protracted "tech" message convo that never sorts the problem out. my contract period has ended, time for a change

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is horrible for both you and your dad, who must be very distressed despite assurances. Thank you for highlighting the issue. I will never use Vodaphone now.
