  • castelloa_ AC 🎄 (@castelloa_) reported from Solihull, England

Utter shambles by @VodafoneUK yet again. Picked up my order from store Saturday, no service at all to be told the order was cancelled because I didn’t pick up the device in time, but here I am with the device at home. Your tech team haven’t a clue what they’re doing either 🥵

  • kerry_mason Kerry Mason (@kerry_mason) reported from Birmingham, England

@VodafoneUK day 1 of your “super fast” broadband & I’m already regretting it. Min guaranteed speed is 40mb/s- we’re getting 13mb/s & internet constantly dropping out. Spoke to a customer advisor earlier who was rude. Now back in the long queue to speak with someone else. Help. 😢

  • TheCarlFord Carl Ford 🐝 🏎⚽️🥊 (@TheCarlFord) reported from Kinvere, England

I can’t call you because @ThreeUKSupport are providing a crap service and have been for 3 weeks because of a bit of rain! Time to have a chat with @virginmedia @O2 @VodafoneUK I think, neither #Sky not #Three value customers. @Three_Is_Broken

  • TomG1875 Tom Geraghty (@TomG1875) reported from Solihull, England

@VodafoneUK placed a order online to collect In store (the fort Birmingham) has a email saying the order was ready to pick up, travelled to the store and they said the systems down and don’t know when it’ll be back up (already been down for a week) so I can’t collect the phone.

  • jane_ellery_ Jane 🍂🍁🎃 (@jane_ellery_) reported from Redditch, England

@ems_charlottex @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK It’s been a couple months now. I was with them years ago and signal was so so. Went to Vodafone after big they were expensive so back to 3 and they are cheaper but poop signal lol

  • jane_ellery_ Jane 🍂🍁🎃 (@jane_ellery_) reported from Redditch, England

@VodafoneUK Thanks but I left your service as it was too expensive and signal not great either.

  • AmyBarnes_xo Doll (@AmyBarnes_xo) reported from Birmingham, England

Imagine I have waited over two weeks for a phone .. go to a @VodafoneUK to collect it and it has been closed down. I am raging 🙂🙂🙂🙂

  • Saq5000 Saqib (@Saq5000) reported from West Bromwich, England

@jadesharp1992 @Courtneysteve98 @VodafoneUK My network three were offering me one and I would have received it the next day but I went out and bought one Sim free as I don’t like paying high monthly outgoings as I decided that this would be the year that I would say goodbye to 2 year contracts

  • licklemouse Stuart Cockerill (@licklemouse) reported from Solihull, England

@VodafoneUK So after showing an interest now just like my reception you cut me off no reply nothing and still no answer to my coverage issues great service @EE come take my money

  • CraigDHoare Craig 🌹 (@CraigDHoare) reported from Birmingham, England

    @garywilde @VodafoneUK I've just discovered this awful

  • millerandmore Hannah Miller (@millerandmore) reported from Birmingham, England

Hi @VodafoneUK I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and I’m really disappointed with how my recent insurance claim has been handled. I know you prob can’t/ won’t intervene but I wanted to find a way to register my disappointment and I can’t think of another way!

  • AtheneSecure Athene Secure (@AtheneSecure) reported from West Bromwich, England

@VodafoneUK broadband down AGAIN for the THIRD time in less than three weeks. Truly appalling 'service' - I wish I hadn't moved from the reliable service I used before with @Plusnet

  • W39Darren Darren Wilkinson (@W39Darren) reported from Walsall Wood, England

@VodafoneUK Customer service and sales are totally useless when you are trying to take a new contract out with them 😤still haven't got any where with them

  • sldf26 Soph (@sldf26) reported from Birmingham, England

@VodafoneUK Hi Becca. To upgrade it will cost me approx £240, plus another upfront cost for the handset and £97 pm for the contract itself. Personally I think £97 is ridiculous, especially when I’ve been a customer for many years. I’m happy to wait it out & leave come the summer. Cheers.

  • RusSmith0907 Rus (@RusSmith0907) reported from Dudley, England

@VodafoneUK New broadband router and plan, all plugged in and ready, WiFi says works but doesn’t so technical support needed 1hr 20 now on hold

  • CraigDHoare Craig 🌹 (@CraigDHoare) reported from Birmingham, England

@Samunitedfan @VodafoneUK Sky have no answer to this. They keep saying they're working on a solution but nothing for weeks.

  • heycitizen DEAN WILKES (@heycitizen) reported from Dudley, England

Live Chat @VodafoneUK Useful service but back and forth comms far too slow.

  • licklemouse Stuart Cockerill (@licklemouse) reported from Solihull, England

@VodafoneUK just had a call to try and keep me as a customer as your monthly contracts are so expensive only for your amazing reception to cut out so your advisor cut me off anyone would think I’m out on an island somewhere but I’m 5 miles outside Birmingham laughable

  • Phil_dodd Phil Dodd (@Phil_dodd) reported from Walsall Wood, England

Could everyone have a look at this exchange between @VodafoneUK and my wife. The Crux of the matter was a better deal was being offered to new customers than it was to her wanting to upgrade after 10 years of loyalty. Once they have you have you as a customer. They stop caring.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Richard01271841 Richard Anderson (@Richard01271841) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Exactly, only an idiot would suggest this response, how about a DIRECT MESSAGE to an already distressed person so you can get a number so they can talk to a human being NOT a BOT!!!🤦🏽

  • StreetEnd60 Old Swan Blue * (@StreetEnd60) reported

@VodafoneUK @speckyninja My fathers got dementia and can’t remember anything about his contract, passwords etc. Basically paying for a phone he can’t even use. It’s a nightmare trying to get help..

  • WidowedAndYoung WAY Widowed and Young (@WidowedAndYoung) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We are so sorry for your father's terrible experience - companies like @VodafoneUK need to make sure they train their staff to help support bereaved customers. Many WAY Widowed and Young members have similar struggles when trying to close their loved one's various accounts 💙💔

  • Carrie1206 carrie (@Carrie1206) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Thank you for the warning. @VodafoneUK How utterly despicable. I’ll make sure to alert everyone I know to this shameful behaviour. When the bereaved really need support from caring companies, this is how the worst behave.

  • tanithcaitlin Tanith Hood (@tanithcaitlin) reported

I have never had so many issues with a company as I have with @VodafoneUK. One full week with no broadband and not a single person can tell me what's going on. One minute my account is apparently cancelled, the next it should be working. Absolutely ridiculous & awful service.

  • KingSin01 Colin Sinfield (@KingSin01) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK My mother-in-law has had many of the same issues with Virgin. 😩

  • Atomheart1972 Glyn 🇬🇧 (@Atomheart1972) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Vodafone are a disgusting company. Had my own problems with them in the past. Hope they go bust.

  • bmac1906 Barry MacDonald (@bmac1906) reported

@adri_port @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Ought/should - but they don’t. Vodafone were great for my family - but I’ve got a similar example with Halifax who were just awful to deal with in person and on the phone.

  • casper197635 Neil Williams (@casper197635) reported

@carolinep0 @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Never had dealings with Virgin Media then

  • MythicJess Mythic Jess (@MythicJess) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot Dark humour aside, this is ridiculous. @VodafoneUK (the company not the poor people fielding the social media account - bless them) need to have a better policy on ending accounts when the account holder is deceased. Why can other places like banks etc do this but not them?
