Could everyone have a look at this exchange between @VodafoneUK and my wife. The Crux of the matter was a better deal was being offered to new customers than it was to her wanting to upgrade after 10 years of loyalty. Once they have you have you as a customer. They stop caring.

Utter shambles by @VodafoneUK yet again. Picked up my order from store Saturday, no service at all to be told the order was cancelled because I didn’t pick up the device in time, but here I am with the device at home. Your tech team haven’t a clue what they’re doing either 🥵

@VodafoneUK day 1 of your “super fast” broadband & I’m already regretting it. Min guaranteed speed is 40mb/s- we’re getting 13mb/s & internet constantly dropping out. Spoke to a customer advisor earlier who was rude. Now back in the long queue to speak with someone else. Help. 😢

@VodafoneUK just had a call to try and keep me as a customer as your monthly contracts are so expensive only for your amazing reception to cut out so your advisor cut me off anyone would think I’m out on an island somewhere but I’m 5 miles outside Birmingham laughable

@VodafoneUK It does now, but this should be made clear on marketing materials. I called to cancel my broadband sign up and they gave me £50 discount so it worked out ok in the end

Hi @VodafoneUK I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and I’m really disappointed with how my recent insurance claim has been handled. I know you prob can’t/ won’t intervene but I wanted to find a way to register my disappointment and I can’t think of another way!

@VodafoneUK Hi Becca. To upgrade it will cost me approx £240, plus another upfront cost for the handset and £97 pm for the contract itself. Personally I think £97 is ridiculous, especially when I’ve been a customer for many years. I’m happy to wait it out & leave come the summer. Cheers.

@VodafoneUK placed a order online to collect In store (the fort Birmingham) has a email saying the order was ready to pick up, travelled to the store and they said the systems down and don’t know when it’ll be back up (already been down for a week) so I can’t collect the phone.

@VodafoneUK Bloody joke. Advertising everywhere on the site that you can get a free Apple TV with the "xtra" package. Then the online upgrade doesn't work - have to phone and then are told you don't do Apple TV anymore! What? You can't update the website accordingly!!?

@VodafoneUK Went on chat to upgrade to be sent copy & paste from the website and told that’s it. Called to see what I have to do at end of contract, did not offer alternative and could not care less. I’ve been with you so long but no customer retention anymore. Disappointing.
