@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This doesn’t surprise me at all. My mother died in 2003 and trying to close her BT landline account was a nightmare. The person I spoke to kept saying “we need to speak to the customer”! Finally I went into the BT sales centre saw a charming lady and in 20 minutes I had finished.

At Star City in Birmingham, outside and can only get 3G. Come on @VodafoneUK , get your 4G network up to scratch before sorting out 5G (particularly as that roll out is slow).

My contract is due for renewal and I won't renew with a company who needs me to subsidise them due to pandering to wokies.
