Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Pencoed and nearby locations:

  • peterkin1010 Peter MacCabe (@peterkin1010) reported from Barry, Wales

@DJAshBash @ThreeUKSupport ..a new chunk of 4G 1500mHz aka Ban.d 32. When they're actually commissioned the Three network has huge potential to deal with all these issues virtually overnight. Sadly they don't communicate the cause and ther solutions very well hence disappointed customers.

  • christianfclark Christian Clark (@christianfclark) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Yes I usually switch between when my 4G struggles. My calls have been dropping and not working properly too though in a variety of locations.

  • Kickassempress Anastassia Cassar (@Kickassempress) reported from Treorchy, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport hi I still have issues today with my phone are they doing work again today. CF42 6lb :(

  • peterkin1010 Peter MacCabe (@peterkin1010) reported from Barry, Wales

@DJAshBash @ThreeUKSupport I'm a Three user and have had experience of both good and bad network in and around the Cardiff area. What Three are stating is true but it's taking longer than they planned originally. Three have the largest 5G bandwidth allocation of all the UK networks plus they also have..

  • thisisjmx James Vincent 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@thisisjmx) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Yeah there weren't any issues. Just no inside signal. There was definitely no 3G & no VoLTE either. Just thought I'd mention it. Mayb a consideration for future network upgrades.

  • alunT Alun Thomas (@alunT) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport I’ve just had the worst #customerservice experience I have ever. My knowledge of your products and services was much better than your staff. Also, TV background noise made it hard to understand the Glasgow accent and adviser 2 spoke fast and did not listen 😡

  • Dariogutier Darío Gutier (@Dariogutier) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Is the same whit whatever I do. Every area I’m going specially when is crowded around me. I have changed SIM cards, phone and the problem is still here

  • Kickassempress Anastassia Cassar (@Kickassempress) reported from Treorchy, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport hi I have no signal at the moment and I was wondering if there was any maintenance going on here. Cf42 6lb

  • peterkin1010 Peter MacCabe (@peterkin1010) reported from Barry, Wales

@DJAshBash @ThreeUKSupport @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK I am also on Vodafone. And I would agree they now have overall a formidable network But they have less bandwith 5G than Three..50mHz as opposed to 140mHz so when Three eventually launch 5G 5G it'll be interesting how it all pans out.

  • Dariogutier Darío Gutier (@Dariogutier) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Yeah and the problem was still there, my phone was changed because apparently was the phone and the problem is still here! It’s been 2 years contract in hell!! I can’t wait to finish it

  • Kickassempress Anastassia Cassar (@Kickassempress) reported from Treorchy, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport hi is work happening again today here as I've lost signal. CF42 6lb

  • Kickassempress Anastassia Cassar (@Kickassempress) reported from Treorchy, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Thanks for letting me know, when I rang three earlier they said no work was happening which made me panic thinking my phone was broken :(

  • richjrawlings RR (@richjrawlings) reported from Coychurch Lower, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Hi Jordanna. The signal is not always 1 bar as this fluctuates when I move to different areas of Bridgend. So this is not a SIM or Device issue, this is to do with the signal/antennas in each area.

  • alunT Alun Thomas (@alunT) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUK I have just had the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My knowledge of your products and services was much better than your staff. Also, TV noise un background made it hard to understand the Glaswegian accent and adviser 2 spoke fast and did not listen 😡

  • abbie_hunt abbie (@abbie_hunt) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUK I had to change my data to ‘3G’ as advised from your in store staff, because the network is so slow atm.

  • thisisjmx James Vincent 🏳️‍🌈🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@thisisjmx) reported from Cardiff, Wales

So 2 weeks ago there was a 4G issue in my village with speeds in kbps range. It's been better but last few days now fine 50-70 Down, around 18 Up. @ThreeUKSupport It's not easy when living a completely mobile network operator life. No home fixed ISP. 1/2

  • gingio Shane (@gingio) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@NathanWyburnArt @Apple I’m having a similar issue and @ThreeUK won’t do anything about it. They told me to download some app which won’t help anyway as it’s unknown caller. I think next step is I’ll be forced to change my number 😐

  • christianfclark Christian Clark (@christianfclark) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport Have been with @ThreeUK for years and always been very happy with service. However since renewing to a 24 month contract and 5G getting turned on, my service has been absolutely terrible. Terrible or no 3G/4G, calls cutting out or failing. 1/2

  • jrdnphp jrdn 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@jrdnphp) reported from Tondu, Wales

@ThreeUKSupport CF32 9RJ iPhone X. I drove to Swansea earlier and it was just as bad there too :(

  • MisCatD Cat 🖤 (@MisCatD) reported from Cardiff, Wales

    @ThreeUK customer service is horrendous

  • mghtymax Mghtymax (@mghtymax) reported

@ThreeUK How will customers be able to pre-order an iPhone 14 through Three if you don't support eSIM yet? iPhone 14 models have no physical SIM tray

  • Little_WonderUK Little Wonder (@Little_WonderUK) reported

@ThreeUK my phone is useless for making calls on your network. Cuts out, can't make phone calls. Beyond distressing when I need it. 🤬

  • stefceretti Stephane Ceretti (@stefceretti) reported

@ThreeUK I live in the US and part time in the UK and I have a three UK Simcard. Upgrading to the iPhone 14 in the US but there is no slot for the simcard, how do I transfer my threeUK physical sim to an esim so I can still use your network ?

  • leemayren Lee Mayren (@leemayren) reported

Not sure where to go with this now. Feel like I've been given poor service. Instinct is to cancel my contract with @ThreeUK, suck up the cost, and go with another company. Or, stick out my contract and then ditch. Where's that @Trustpilot link, I feel like writing a review.

  • mghtymax Mghtymax (@mghtymax) reported

@ThreeUKSupport @2balint This isn't helpful. If you are allowing customers to buy an iPhone 14, they need to first have the confirmation that you support eSIM...otherwise the iPhone 14 that they just purchased will be useless on your network

  • crm_uk Clive Morris (@crm_uk) reported

@ThreeUKSupport sent DM and no one bothered to respond. Awful customer service !! @MoneySavingExp @Ofcom

  • stefceretti Stephane Ceretti (@stefceretti) reported

@ThreeUK Hi, were struggling with signal in BB7. Please can you install some masts. Maybe a 5G mast on the train station area in Clitheroe.

  • motherofpl4nts blessed not stressed 🌚 (@motherofpl4nts) reported

Had the most appalling customer service experience at the @ThreeUK store in Nuneaton. Absolutely disgraceful, the store manager was not only rude and arrogant but he also told my mother to ‘get out’ of the store. Knowing there was a language barrier, the store manager’s —
