Now she's been disconnected & lost her lifeline with the outside world. So tomorrow we try again. 4th time lucky? I hope so.

Are the retained working kiosks being kept as analog?

Stuart Sharp (@SharpStu) reported@wpduk @bt_uk Thanks Steve. A 30 sec power outage lead to a 12 min BT hub reboot. Not the first time that’s happened. Outages are one thing but no idea why some of the tech reboots so slowly.

Peter Brown (@peterbrownbarra) reported@LivingStreetsEd @bt_uk I think there may be a policy to leave a skeleton service of landline phone boxes as fewer and fewer people have landlines in their houses. Following extreme weather mobile communications can be knocked out much easier than landlines.
