I think we have had a telephone scam at 7.55am claiming to be from @bt_uk wanting to check@internet speed. Would like to report this to @bt_uk but their report page on their app is down.

@bt_uk my broadband in Northampton has been down 24 hours and the text service just keeps pushing the estimated fix time on a few hours at a time. An honest estimate would be better.

@bt_uk OK, his badge had BT, EE, and MoneyExpert on it, so maybe it was legit -- but a guy appearing on my doorstep with a pen and pad, asking to check if I was with BT and how my speed is doing, is never going to get inside, because I would need to verify this before speaking.
