Promises to get it fixed by noon today. The line is still dead, as my father will be if he cannot get help when needed. He’s 90 so don’t suggest a mobile. 🤬🤬

David Meikle 😺 (@archied009) reported@DreyfusJames @bt_uk Customer service is not high on the list of priorities for most organisations. If they're not providing a service, are you not entitled to stop monthly payments ?
-
Code Ninja (@IAmCodeNinja) reported@DreyfusJames @bt_uk I'm with BT now, and have good service but by God you better know your arse from your elbow when things go wrong, because they'll have your wallet if not.
-
Mr Gingerlegs (@JimG747) reported@adam__friend @DreyfusJames @bt_uk It`s not the owner it`s the router they supply that counts, BT has supplied terrible routers for years.

david (@david55034076) reported@DreyfusJames @bt_uk expensive,,and ****,, i got stung,,reported intermitent fault,,bt couldnt find it,,they still charge you,,157 pounds,,fault remained,,i left for sky

Caroline Green (@carolinesgreen) reported@virginmedia We have patchy internet and it doesn't work on at least three devices in my house. They all worked fine with the last router so it is NOT our devices at fault. I am paying for an extremely sub standard service and am very very cross. Thinking of going to @bt_uk ASAP

Miss P the 🌍HoD🙋♀️🏳️🌈 (@Geog_Miss_P) reported@bt_uk can you help? My 91yo grandma has been without a landline since 21/12, your engineer said its a major fault and cannot be fixed, "for weeks" but she's the only house experiencing it. She lives alone and doesn't use the Internet/mobiles so is vulnerable.

F. C. Dewhirst and Co. (@LotSW1973) reported@DreyfusJames @bt_uk My family had a nightmare in 2021 with a new router, which was sold to us by a subsidiary company to BT. We had nothing but trouble with it, and finally got it replaced by BT directly just a few weeks ago. We also ended up paying way more than we should have, but got compensated

MrC 🛸 (@toucanjester) reported@DreyfusJames @bt_uk I sympathise James. I used to be an engineer with BT but left because quite frankly they were a useless company to work for. They care more about share holders, line manager bonuses & stats.Customer service, health & safety & employee welfare we’re seldom a priority
-
DaveB🇧🇼 (@DaveB_mcfc) reported from Longfield, EnglandOur broadband has been on/off daily since 16/12 but despite being given a fix date of 06/01 at 1pm this has now passed and the fault checker now says you are unable to give a new date. Can you give update confirm what compensation we are entitled to and how we claim it. @.bt_uk

MrC 🛸 (@toucanjester) reported@DreyfusJames @JustBusyWriting @bt_uk Today its usually fibre to the large green boxes (DSLAM) & then 🤞🏽 copper beyond. Unfortunately there is aluminium & even paper insulated wires still in the ground. Underground boxes flood easily especially after a storm, wires get rubbed down in the trees if it’s pole fed
