@bt_uk I've tried speaking to two people on the chat now as I can never get through on the phone. Both have said there's no record of me closing the account so I'm being charged an insane termination fee AND my old housemates had to pay to be reconnected.

@Molteh @bt_uk We had this. So frustrating as FTTP. Cancelled and now Amy is the account holder.. same address, but new customer as far as BT were concerned. Got a free Hive hub, £39.99 for 150mb/s and pocketed £20 for their terrible home Hub on Shpock as we have Google mesh. Option for you!

@bt_uk @PaulWillgoss Contacted BT Monday 28th March, arrived at a second home property, No Wifi at all, solid orange on router. New router send out. Open teach engineer sent out.. open reach engineer did all tests, confirmed no open reach issue.. went back to BT spoke to approx 6 advisors

@Crashed7 @bt_uk When it's working properly it's fine - although we've never approached the 150Mbps we're supposed to get - but then we're not high usage so, 70-80 mbps usually fine for what we want. 30-40 is pathetic, though. Far more drop-outs than we got with EE as well.
