So, after a week of no Internet, unreturned calls, promises of service resumption that have come to nothing, @bt_uk 's promise to send an engineer to me today between 1pm and 6pm has, probably rather predictably, been broken. No engineer. Still no service. I'm beyond frustrated.

Does anyone know if the "hub" provided by @bt_uk for their 900mb broadband can be put in modem mode so it can work with custom network equipment (in my case a unifi security gateway). I don't want their WiFi, etc: my gear is better!

@bt_uk I find since we've had BT Internet it's very poor. Had it installed as Sky didn't do fibre in our area. Trouble with initial installation, which was eventually fixed. WiFi drops out daily, lags when the boys play the xbox or if I'm streaming via the PlayStation. #poor

The ref is at the centre of it all because @btsport are making a massive deal about it! There was one decision that went the wrong was and that was a penalty for Arsenal that could only be seen using a super slow-no replay.
