  • melodiouscode melodiouscode (@melodiouscode) reported from Bristol, England

Does anyone know if the "hub" provided by @bt_uk for their 900mb broadband can be put in modem mode so it can work with custom network equipment (in my case a unifi security gateway). I don't want their WiFi, etc: my gear is better!

  • baldyrunner Baldy Pete (@baldyrunner) reported from Bristol, England

Watching @TheVanaramaNL highlights on #btsport I'd forgotten how bad the camerawork is...

  • JHolmesEsq Jonathan Holmes (@JHolmesEsq) reported from Bristol, England

@bt_uk I’ve found an old router in my house - can I send it back to you for recycling if I’m not a BT customer?

  • Kaththomasset Katherine Thomasset (@Kaththomasset) reported from Bristol, England

.@bt_uk still without internet after a week, and no sign of the engineer who was supposed to be with us between 1 and 6 today. We received a message saying the problem was fixed but it definitely isn’t!

  • moomatahico Moomat (@moomatahico) reported from Bristol, England

Hey @bt_uk when do I get a refund from my abominable internet? It's been terrible for six months. I think you should give me the service I've paid for, or compensation.

  • Kaththomasset Katherine Thomasset (@Kaththomasset) reported from Bristol, England

.@bt_uk not impressed that we’ve been without broadband for 4.5 days now - our timeline has said since Thurs that problem should be corrected by today, but no update and massive phone queues - what’s going on?

  • BigBernie4 Greg (Big Bernie) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@BigBernie4) reported from Bristol, England

I mean, I know all about utter incompetence, I spent 25 years on the railway where we managed to run a service despite incompetent management. But @bt_uk have taken it to a new level. So @westcountrybird , clinically vulnerable in these strange times, will have to continue going

  • jocra14 John Crabtree (@jocra14) reported from Clevedon, England

@Tonysmini @OpenreachHelp @bt_uk We were supposed to have an engineer visit on the 18 Dec 2020 and that never happened. I asked BT to arrange an engineer last week and they said no need.

  • jocra14 John Crabtree (@jocra14) reported from Clevedon, England

@Tonysmini @OpenreachHelp @bt_uk It was until last weekend but now it’s flashing. I’m told the issue is that Openreach have the wrong s/n attached to the property and Bt give them the correct one but it doesn’t get updated

  • BigBernie4 Greg (Big Bernie) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@BigBernie4) reported from Bristol, England

The latest in the ongoing, and frankly unbelievable saga, between myself and @bt_uk sees them keep me on hold before simply cutting me off. Weve had over a week of no Internet, unfulfilled promises of return calls, unfulfilled promises of service restoration, and an approach to

  • alexjturco Alex Turco |🇬🇧🇨🇾🇮🇪 (@alexjturco) reported from Burnham-on-Sea, England

@btbusinesscare is there any chance of a quicker engineer visit to work out the cause of ‘branch wire from the main wire is causing unwanted signal reflection which is causing drop outs in connection’

  • BigBernie4 Greg (Big Bernie) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@BigBernie4) reported from Bristol, England

@bt_uk our Internet, and thus our TV and streaming services, have been off for a week. Original fix date was yesterday, later amended to today. During a phone call to you 5 hours ago, I was promised a call by your "Jeopardy" team. My partner is clinically vulnerable and needs to

  • pipa217 Karina Quinteros (@pipa217) reported from Bristol, England

@rowen_grey @bt_uk Having the same problem

  • TeamPenster SamuEL Penster Gaming in the Multiverse (@TeamPenster) reported from Bristol, England

@bt_uk The only options are sign in and then change account settings... ?

  • BigBernie4 Greg (Big Bernie) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@BigBernie4) reported from Bristol, England

So, after a week of no Internet, unreturned calls, promises of service resumption that have come to nothing, @bt_uk 's promise to send an engineer to me today between 1pm and 6pm has, probably rather predictably, been broken. No engineer. Still no service. I'm beyond frustrated.

  • Mayabirch1 Maya Birch (@Mayabirch1) reported from Street, England

Thankyou @bt_uk we've been with you again not even two weeks, and the internet has cut out completely. Meaning I cannot do my job. And no resolution in sight?!!

  • BatemanChino Batrick Pateman (@BatemanChino) reported from Worle, England

    @bt_uk @BTCare Broadband appears down in BS22 8BD?

@bt_uk As I have 3 hubs as well as my modem... and still have problems .... please can I have £100?

  • Mikey___Smith Mike (@Mikey___Smith) reported from Bristol, England

@bt_uk hey BT, I need to make a complaint, your online chat guys don't seem to comprehend the issue I'm having

  • starr3126 Gareth Starr (@starr3126) reported from Weston-super-Mare, England

@bt_uk I find since we've had BT Internet it's very poor. Had it installed as Sky didn't do fibre in our area. Trouble with initial installation, which was eventually fixed. WiFi drops out daily, lags when the boys play the xbox or if I'm streaming via the PlayStation. #poor

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ChrisCollis2 Chris Collis (@ChrisCollis2) reported

Why @btsport employ Peter Walton is completely beyond me, constantly talks **** and contradicts himself, I swear he’s just on there to piss people off, he offers nothing

  • RonRingTheTruth Tommy Ling (@RonRingTheTruth) reported

Poxy officiating aside, the biggest failure is BT Sport's continued inability to cover these games properly. They missed both the red card and the penalty award due to crap direction. The commentary is a rambling mess, and as for Peter Walton... #ARSMCI @btsportfootball @btsport

  • RediKnight85 Patrick Hanlon (@RediKnight85) reported

@rioferdy5 and @JoleonLescott making something out of nothing. Both penalty calls were dealt with perfectly. The pen that was given was stonewall and as for the first incident that wasnt given, it was almost impossible to say either way so the on-field call goes. #ARSMCI #btsport

  • mikereillo Michael Reilly (@mikereillo) reported

Btsport obsessing about var. Ignoring arsenal’s role in own downfall, shirt pulling, stupid yellow cards, open goal missed … but yeah one dubious decision.

  • andygooner Andy Rogers (@andygooner) reported

@btsport #arsmc Can't say that VAR can't forensically analyse the Arsenal pen, when that's EXACTLY what happens for offside decisions?.....stupid comment! 🤬🤬🤬

  • gooner65 Paul.S (@gooner65) reported

@btsport @btsportfootball You are not helping the situation on fans view on VAR and referees by employing Peter Walton who constantly justifies poor decision by VAR teams and referees. He talks absolute rubbish.

  • Bruno57581468 Bruno (@Bruno57581468) reported

@btsport so we can look slow motion offside but not for penalty

  • KeithBr89743464 Keith Brown (@KeithBr89743464) reported

@bt_uk any ideas when or what the internet issue is in my area? Postcode is NR32 TIA

  • MarkSwatridge Mark Swatridge (@MarkSwatridge) reported

Peter Walton’s explanation about the penalties just goes to show what a crap bunch of officials we have in charge of the EPL and referees, even after he tried to make the decisions sound fair nobody agrees! #btsport #ARSMCI

  • MCFCDarlo Love City & Darlo (@MCFCDarlo) reported

Out of interest does anyone based in the UK subscribe to a foreign football channel that can get the PL and CL coverage? Cant handle @btsport and @SkyFootball any longer, the bias is mind blowing for anyone who does not support united or Liverpool.
