I mean, I know all about utter incompetence, I spent 25 years on the railway where we managed to run a service despite incompetent management. But @bt_uk have taken it to a new level. So @westcountrybird , clinically vulnerable in these strange times, will have to continue going

@bt_uk No known issue. Since there was BT van outside my home doing some sort of upgrade on the copper wires of the area. Internet been very poor. Already replaced router twice. When gaming on PC with ethernet cable plug in and someone makes a WhatsApp call my ping spikes to 500ms!

Does anyone know if the "hub" provided by @bt_uk for their 900mb broadband can be put in modem mode so it can work with custom network equipment (in my case a unifi security gateway). I don't want their WiFi, etc: my gear is better!

So, after a week of no Internet, unreturned calls, promises of service resumption that have come to nothing, @bt_uk 's promise to send an engineer to me today between 1pm and 6pm has, probably rather predictably, been broken. No engineer. Still no service. I'm beyond frustrated.

@btsport @SportOnTheBox If you said you would NEVER show games from the Super League or bid for rights for it without the blessing of UEFA/FIFA/The FA etc then your statement would be important and powerful. As it happens, it says nothing of note, and is just meaningless waffle without sentiment.
