Maybe the system can't tell the difference and you get an automated message. Although when I was with another company they would just slow your connection down in that case.

Colin McWoo Woods (@colinmcwoo) reported@EE Basically anything under 2 bars with 5G it’s pretty much non existent. It’s been an issue ever since I went to 5G 2 years ago. Have been back and forth have had new SIM cards and get asked to make a note of when and where (which I did) but nothing ever changes.
