I've always bought my phones from eBay without any problem. I've mailed the seller, who's going to do some digging, which is more than I expected for a three year old transaction.

The house had been rented 2 years before the date of purchase, but they never shut down their service. We could have moved in and they would be paying for our electricity bills as we had no way to contact them !

Formal complaint seemed promising but when passed to their 'Value' team, price offered was ยฃ10 more than for a new customer. It was nuts.

Last time this happened someone at EE had suspended my account as I had a different logon. Took ages to fix. Unhappy
