X really are useless, right? Report an account for impersonating @EE support and X says the account did not violate their terms of service. So they can carry on scamming.

  • Fizzinnf
    David Physick (@Fizzinnf) reported

When is @EE going to sort out its signal in #Woodbridge so it is possible to use the car parking app? Decent signal in #Felixstowe. An annoying first world problem.

  • cliffc100
    cliff cook (@cliffc100) reported

@TheDealEnvoy @EE This applys to anyone from any company or organisation that sends you a one time passcode the genuine company will never ask for this code anyone doing is a scammer trying to access your account

  • ian_wardell
    Ian Wardell (@ian_wardell) reported

@EE As I've said, I've already tried around 20 times, and I've already said this 150 simply doesn't work, hence cannot be a legitimate number. How many more times must I try?? If one has to have a mobile contract with EE than this would explain it.

  • TheDealEnvoy
    À𝕓Ñπ•ͺα»Μ€π•žΓ (@TheDealEnvoy) reported

🚨 Scam alert. Be careful out there. Hackers are getting really sophisticated. Just had an unsolicited call from 01438 989236 claiming to be @EE customer service. Sounded professional. Said they had a promotion that would bring my monthly bill down. Asked for my last name, then said I’d get a code from @EE and should read it out to β€œverify” I was the account holder. Checked the number that called and the number that sent the text. Instantly knew it was a scam. Called @EE myself on the official number and reported it. Never give anyone a code sent to your phone. Hang up and call the company directly.

  • cliffc100
    cliff cook (@cliffc100) reported

@EE @TheDealEnvoy Its just a fake spoofing number stepchainge are a ligitimate organisation that help people in debit nothing to do with ee

  • Cadisbikes
    Emma-Jane πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ (@Cadisbikes) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE This has been forced on my father. So the power goes out, he lives in the middle of nowhere, no mobile phone signal unless he treks out into a field and up to the highest point,.perfect for a man in his 80s. Easy target for thieves, cut power, no 999 can be rang.

  • rebelrouser29
    terry πŸ–€ (@rebelrouser29) reported

@EE Also. It was never this bad 12 months ago. Something has changed your end. To many people in the area now with Sizewell C starting and you haven't kept up with the pace and causing a bottle neck. πŸ€”πŸ˜³

  • Lizzyzsu
    Lizzy (@Lizzyzsu) reported

@EE β€˜Oh you have to personally cancel it’ I was told then after paying for 3 more months of EE while on a Canadian sim & not even using EE. That’s why I’m so intent on doing it now but you make it purposefully difficult!!

  • tompascoew
    Tom Pascoe (@tompascoew) reported

After 25 years of being with @EE, Orange before, I have finally had the time to cancel my account. After creeping roaming charges in (especially data) that never used to exist and increasing prices yearly it feels fantastic. Bye!
