So 5G officially went live in the UK today on the @EE network in 5 major cities, @VodafoneUK will follow suit in a few weeks. 5G compatible smartphones are still pretty thin on the ground, and with no iPhone expected until 2nd half of 2020 this is going to be a slow burner #5G

@EE Signal in TF5 area is poor and getting worse. So many no signal spots when I’m walking the dog. Sort 4g across the whole country before playing with 5g please.

Have been chatting to @EE this week due to 29% call drop rate and have come across a new phrase - ‘cell breathing’. I think that’s technical bs for terrible signal. At least they said they’ll be improving the masts in September 2020!! #whatdoipayfor #ThursdayThoughts

I sincerely hope @EE have fixed their issues. No service at all yesterday which is unacceptable. Paying a ridiculous amount each month for data I barely use right now, until needed yesterday with @virginmedia ongoing issues and you failed to step up. Sort it out please! 😤

@EE Oh yes. Restart phone. Turn airplane mode on and off. Turn off auto network selection and turn back on etc. I live in Telford, not the middle of bloomin Cumbria!

@EE Hi Mark. In the last few months, signal has been on and off like a yoyo, with total downtime last week which made working from home difficult. @virginmedia also died too, so wasn't a great day 😅 Other half uses Voxi and had no issues with connectivity.

@AllieRenison @EE Yes, happens to my in-laws. They are on EE too, but I think it's because their signal is so crap (like dial up speeds rather than broadband). Most ISPs wouldn't even take them on the advertised speeds were so low...

@EE @DPDgroup_news absolutely appalled at the service from DPD re: delivering my upgrade. Been sat my local depot without moving for 2 days now, on querying with DPD they refuse to help unless I go through EE. I fail to see how it's EE's problem, they've sent it on time.

@AJ_The_Red @EE Had issues with my phone not getting service even though my wife does. EE said their stats for me were 100% uptime so wouldn’t get investigated and advised me to leave for somebody else.

@EE No service for over two years for which you have given me 135 pounds with no explanation, but let me guess here, you are afraidof admitting theft and I may just go away. People need to know. 40 pounds a month for 2.5 years and more
