Sky have rights to other sports too, so a netflix football service would be yet another thing to pay for if you like multiple sports. More football needs to be on freeview channels like BBC and ITV.

MPEG4 actually allows broadcasters to fit more channels on a multiplex. As a result, Sky News at 704x576 can be done at similar bitrates as a 544x576 service on UK Freeview. Raymond Russell (@raymierussell) reported@ImagesZx It seems to rely on what the definition of live TV. If a live program is available on Freeview, Cable TV or Sky (or any related streaming service) then that requires a license. You need for example a license to watch Sky News live on YouTube. (1/2)

In 2016, S4C relaunched its HD outlet, this time simply known as 'S4C HD'. The BBC Three consultation revealed S4C HD is earmarked for a return to Freeview soon.

If the Beeb feel it’s ok to pay someone with these views, no problem. But we can’t watch other Freeview channels unless we pay for your ‘bricks’ Time for that to change.
