@tinytwink The poor shouldn't have anything they have to work for. Big screen TV - nope. Netflix - what's wrong with Freeview? Mobile phone - can't they walk to the phone box on the corner that was disconnected five years ago. They think if you're poor you should suffer or not be poor.

@Stephen_Neal Good shout! If we just take the Freeview/Freesat ones, we get to ten, excluding the National ones: 1) BBC One 2) BBC Two 3) BBC Four 4) CBBC 5) CBeebies 6) BBC News 7) BBC Parliament 8) Dave 9) Drama 10) Yesterday But they aren’t licence fee funded, so don’t help the argument.

@PayneB44 @tomhfh @BBC Your point was you want a break from it. There’s 1000s of channels, Freeview, YouTube, Sky, NOWTV, Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, BRITBOX DVDs, Blu-rays. Boxsets. There’s never been so much content to take your mind off it. Or just turn the telly off.

@virginmedia once again trying to contact virgin media is a no go a proper waste of time contract has run out trying to cancel they have put the money up to £60 a month for basically 2 freeview boxes I have cancelled my direct debit which is due on the 7 april what a scam😡

Also, NXT UK will air on a weeks delay on the Paramount Network, which puts them on Freeview.

@WhoPotterVian I never had an issue with ITV Hub but ITVX just crashes all the time. Took their advice eventually and uninstalled it and reloaded it and now it doesn't work at all. And it works on less devices than it did before - even on a new Freeview Play device bought just last year

@angefitzpatrick @libmichelle I have lived IN Edinburgh for the past 12 years. Our last house is on the edge of the city but definitely in it. On rainy days Freeview only picked up 4 TV channels and when we moved out in 2019 there was still no cable so internet was glacially slow.

@ITV Help!!. I am three quarters of the way through THe Bay when ITV X went back to the home screen. I cant see the end of the episode without watching it all again. I'm on ordinary freeview,but on a pc as we have a bad reception. This happens every time I watch ITV X now.

@GBNEWS I am now streaming my TV through BT as our aerial reception of various Freeview channels is poor, especially in bad weather. That means we have the channels THEY give us and GB News is not available. This is discrimination in the extreme and you should take it up with BT.
