@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

@markadayofdays Oh how very euro. Won't be watching yet again . Wake up people, cancel those licence fees . You can fully set up Freesat for less cost and get better programmes and more choice . That's Freesat, not Freeview which can have reception problems .

@RichardWellings At the rate people are cancelling their licences, it’s unlikely the decision will be the BBC’s to make. But, as you say, very few would choose to pay for the BBC as a subscription service. Their future lies in commercial, freeview, tv, like ITV, Channel 4 and all the others.

@win_confidante I'm still watching freeview on an old analogue TV plus I'm too tight to pay for it. I've got the game of thrones dvds from my sister to watch, I don't like Tom cruise so top gun was never of much interest I've seen an iron-man & a couple of captain America's but nowt special

@FreeviewTV Noticing that you're thinking of bringing out a streaming service for all providers. Freeview play style? I'd have no idea. Despite the fact I could spit on the Netherton Braes relay from my couch, I've never seen a second of live TV from it.

@virginmedia The worst customer service in the world and a company that has always neglected long time customers over new ones. The costs are also astronomical including charging customers to deliver freeview channels in every TV package

Does anyone use freeview? Im not interested in films or box sets just the basic main TV channels? Do you get a decent service and quality oif picture and sound?

Why is ITV broadcast picture on @virginmedia such poor quality? Just checked Freeview HD and it’s perfect.

@ShowcaseAlex That’s when it does come down to £. Sport isn’t freeview. We’re paying billions between us all to watch it worldwide. Who would pay the artists & the logistics of it if there were no crowd?
