  • adamsn Nj (@adamsn) reported from Chertsey, England

@HSBC_UK what’s the point of having one branch closed in weybridge (nearest one to chertsey) and you drive all the way to Woking and the HSBC there is closed as well due to amend times. Waste off a trip and fuel! It’s not great customer service

  • Adeolu_98 AO (@Adeolu_98) reported from London, England

@HSBC_UK banking shouldn’t be difficult and take up your whole Saturday. It should be easy and convenient. That is not what you are making it with your terrible services currently.

  • Robduns Rob Dunstone (@Robduns) reported from Slough, England

Hi @HSBC_UK - any ideas why the counter service in your Slough High Street branch is so slow? At least 20 minutes queuing so far & no end in sight. Thanks.

  • hyfzur Hifzur Rahman (@hyfzur) reported from Watford, England

@HSBC_UK i had applied for a credit card on 26 mar 2022. Called the customer care 4-5 times since then finally came to know that the application is approved, all clear from the underwriting services team, it's sitting with the banking approval team. It's been a month !!!!

HSBC Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • langcliffelady Linda Evans (@langcliffelady) reported from Langcliffe, England

@HSBC_UK we live a mile from your branch and can only get a weak mobile signal in upstairs bedroom many of my neighbours do not have wifi and do not want it, because of the cost. Landlines for calls only. Banks profits increase, service decreases.. shameful..

  • GarryLloyd1 Garry Lloyd (@GarryLloyd1) reported

@HSBC_UK closing down hundreds of high street banks. I know that if I was a client of theirs, I’d be immediately closing my bank. Yet another tech introduction that has cost jobs. Is anyone working out yet that if it continues, there’ll be millions less jobs !

  • avtsuk CAPTAIN_B53 (@avtsuk) reported

@HSBC_UK Tell it to the management , I'm afraid I'm now immune to all the disingenuous apologies that are free flowing when the service fails and no takes responsibility.

  • Ty63753586 Ty (@Ty63753586) reported

@HSBC_UK HSBC shutting down so many stores to be more efficient and go online chat and it takes 60minutes to connect to someone on chat. If we look for a telephone number on your webpage it’s like a riddle, nothing? Is this improvements?

  • RedCircleFP Darren Cooke (@RedCircleFP) reported

@simonnread @HSBC_UK That shop still provided a service but a service not enough people valued, or used, enough. Now they face having to go to town or order online. What’s the difference?

  • simonnread simon read (@simonnread) reported

@RedCircleFP @HSBC_UK Because it takes away a service. If a store closes it just means they can't sell their tat to local people anymore

  • mastermikebb mastermikebb (@mastermikebb) reported

@HSBC_UK But that doesn’t help me traveling 60 miles in total to go to my bank. If I have to go in I should charge you travel costs. #HSBC

  • Jacob315_ Jacob (@Jacob315_) reported

@HSBC_UK Can I do this at a digital service branch?

  • LC76LFC LC76LFC #NoneOfTheAbove (@LC76LFC) reported

@HSBC_UK answer me this. If you keep shutting local branches making it harder for ppl, especially the elderly, to do their banking why should anyone stay with you? Many online banks offer just as good a service if not better. I may be switching

  • RedCircleFP Darren Cooke (@RedCircleFP) reported

@simonnread @HSBC_UK Banks have never pretended to provide a service. They do provide a service, that is their business. If not enough people use that service it closes, no business keeps open a loss making branch. If B&Q close a store, or Tesco, nobody moans. Why do they moan when a bank does?
