Opened a jade account with @HSBC_UK after making a move from @StarlingBank. Very first transaction from the new account…Fail! Transaction seems to have gone thru, but get an error message saying there was a problem!Hate to compare but Starling App was so perfectly engineered

@HSBC_UK what’s the point of having one branch closed in weybridge (nearest one to chertsey) and you drive all the way to Woking and the HSBC there is closed as well due to amend times. Waste off a trip and fuel! It’s not great customer service

@HSBC_UK i had applied for a credit card on 26 mar 2022. Called the customer care 4-5 times since then finally came to know that the application is approved, all clear from the underwriting services team, it's sitting with the banking approval team. It's been a month !!!!

It never ceases to amaze me that a full service bank @HSBC_UK can be so unhelpful. I only wanted to pay in a cheque (rarity I know) into my @firstdirect account, but it was all so much hassle. Machines not working, no paying in slips. Unhelpful staff! FD you are so much better!!

Want to set up new child current account. @HSBC_UK new customer number asks for existing account details then disconnects. @firstdirect doesn’t even do them. @Metro_Bank I gave up trying to persuade your automated system to let me talk to someone. You lot not want new customers?

@40PercentGerman UK 2023: @HSBC_UK , the world's most incompetent bank misspelled my name in their app. Clerical error their side. The solution? First stop - asking if I was sure it was wrong. Next stop: customer has to apply for a name change using a printed form.

.@HSBC_UK have a team for customers with long term #disability who said before “deal only with us on this issue” who have been amazing in the past. Now they are impossible to reach as all numbers go to the offshore call centre who cannot connect #vulnerable customers to the team.
