    @HSBC_UK can anyone explain why my global account atm card doesn’t work, can’t be read by HSBC arms or used to purchase goods? Interestingly my husband has the exact same issue. Apparently I@must call the global account helpdesk which only operates Mon-Fri 8am - 6pm………..

    @HSBC_UK Then may be we can escalate to the financial ombudsman or someone with authority. I hope your team is aware that your app showing 72hrs deadline for transaction done through Global money account and HSBC mobile app. If it's a Glitch please update the deadline.

    @HSBC_UK Further Ive tried this 3 separate devices...mobile phone and 2 different laptops. Ive cleared cache so this is not the issue... especially given 3 different devices.

    @HSBC_UK Really I should look for some other banks to work with? Minimum 22 minutes to talk to @HSBC_UK customer care executive looooong waiting line. No more transaction with your un regularised unstructured Global money account who cannot provide me a Swift copy as per your policy

    @HSBC_UK Called customer support on 25-11-2022. You executive said I will get a call back on 26-11-2022 and your team will mail me the Swift copy for the transaction I done with global account. No call back and no Swift copy yet. Chat support will take 1 hr (MOBA says so).

    @HSBC_UK Yes. The issue is resolved I was happy to update the same here. But you know what, same happened for the transaction on 5th December 2022. As per my understanding, based on previous experience the new one will not be resolved for another 1 month. @HSBC_UK worst experience

    @ShappiKhorsandi @HSBC_UK I’ve been with @LloydsBank since I was 15 - so 35 years now. Never had any issues with them. Only thing is local branches have closed down which is sad but I mostly do on line banking now. Good luck. x

    So @HSBC_UK doesn’t provide a self-service option for customers to generate their account statements for specific periods. Ordinary @myaccessbank @gtbank and co have that simple functionality. That’s really surprising for a bank of their standard.

    @HSBC_UK Hi Desi. Thank you for confirming. My nearest "Full service" branch seems to be 40 miles away which is frustrating. There is a "Cash service branch" closer (Blackwood, South Wales) which says counter service Mon-Fri. Would I be able to deposit it there?

    🙄 just spent ages on the phone with @HSBC_UK - put me on hold and hung up on me. Got a new phone and my banking app won’t let me deposit cheques - I’ve been through troubleshooting and the online help bot, phoned them etc, blatant refusal to admit anyone else has logged an issue
