  • dazkimber

@O2 literally the worst coverage going, get 4G and full bars in Portsmouth area but takes an age to load anything, 4 family phones on this network with same problem, will be moving all of these to another network. I swear they just sell more phones without the bandwidth to cope

Ben Harding (@northamsoul7) reported from Wootton Bridge, England

I assume we’re not paying a full months bill this month then @O2! Off until 23rd Feb with no warning of an outage! Your service is woeful!

  • rushworth_peter
Peter 🇺🇦 (@rushworth_peter) reported from Wallington, England

@O2 @darklilly1604 App used to work. Now you have to validate you login with virgin which I assume many people have done, it work once, then you trying opening it again and you have to go through the validation process all over again. The worst process ever. Ditch the app. At least Priority works

  • grannypatt
Pat Waistnidge (@grannypatt) reported from Sandown, England

@O2 I'm on holiday. Mainly use wi-fi at home. Never use my data, text or minutes allowance. I only need data when I am away with no hotel access to internet. Carrying forward allowances should be available.

  • tomdearie
Tom Dearie 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@tomdearie) reported from Portsmouth, England

@O2 So I pay you money for a service you ‘might’ provide me? It’s the whole of the city in Portsmouth that’s awful. Everywhere in the city

  • nevylou
Louise Lea (@nevylou) reported from Portsmouth, England

@O2 Yeah doesn't really help "Our network can get busy in this area"... It's a city.

  • rachelbymustang
Rachel Marian Digby (@rachelbymustang) reported from Sandown, England

@O2 is there a help desk I can call? I am paying more for my phone still than what was originally agreed at the start of my contract. I was told I'd get discount as I work for Bupa. My bill is still over £40 per month and it is not what I signed up to. Really unhappy.

@O2 It’s everywhere in Portsmouth. I had this exact same problem when I lived here. As soon as I get to Havant, my phone is slow, takes forever to call out to anyone, phone doesn’t ring when people call me, internet is rubbish.

  • LeonJJDay
Leon (@LeonJJDay) reported from Portsmouth, England

@O2 your service is a joke

  • sonnybyng
Sonny ⚓️ (@sonnybyng) reported from Portsmouth, England

  • Danny1972boy
Daniel Blakey (@Danny1972boy) reported from Waterlooville, England

@O2 it’s Glastonbury next weekend, really looking forward to it. Are you boosting the signal in the area to ensure there’s enough bandwidth

  • petekitching
    Pete K. 🇬🇧 🇪🇺 🇩🇪 (@petekitching) reported from Fareham, England

@O2 Just been to store to upgrade 2 phones. Given price £10 a month each dearer than competitor. Not willing to match. How to lose a customer of 26 years in one easy lesson. Not good business. Even my insurers will negotiate to keep the good business of an easy customer.

  • CharlieOake
Charlotte Oake (@CharlieOake) reported from Fareham, England

@O2 I have been into my local branch who have looked into this and was told ‘it does seem a bit much... you just need to pay’. Very unhelpful customer service im afraid to say

  • timeades

@rocknroller912 @kokeshimum @O2 Biggest signal blockers are NIMBYS

  • Ms_Cherry_B
    💕 🧁𝓒𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓻𝔂_𝓞𝓱_𝓑𝓪𝓫𝔂 🇬🇩+🇦🇬 (@Ms_Cherry_B) reported

@O2 Before I send, I’d like to know what you will do about this repeated problem. The stupid app signs you out randomly then sends you on the idiotic loop of email verification, which is hit or miss when it comes to working. It’s been like this ever since the ridiculous change

  • phaid3000
    Alan... J (@phaid3000) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 London 📞 : I piggyback off Vodafone with @lebara & I get a better signal that my next door(s) whos with VODA for £4.95 for 20Gig and its the same signal 😤

  • MarkyB_62
    Mark Breeze🕷💙💻🐟 #FBPE #FBPA #RejoinEU🇺🇦 (@MarkyB_62) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 Because the operators put profit ahead of service? Coverage investment goes into the high traffic/ high profit urban areas, at the expense of suburban & rural coverage. Better regulation would help.

  • jameshullfc
    James (@jameshullfc) reported

@O2 @iamryanodonnell Can’t even provide any signal in parts of Hull for 20 years

  • StuartSemple85
    Stuart Semple (@StuartSemple85) reported

@O2 Signal is always crap here I’m afraid. It’s the infrastructure that’s terribly poor and it’s showed up massively when I could get a full 5g signal in the remotest part of a Greek island yet can’t even get 4g in a village 3 miles from a big town here.

  • behrendtio
Mario Behrendt | AI Founder (@behrendtio) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 One could argue you’re in Huddersfield. It’s not the “highest priority area” to build infrastructure let’s say. But I’m in London and during a typical commute on an overground train I lose my signal entirely at least 3 times. Both on EE and Vodafone. Incredible.

  • Bruggers100
    Tony Brugnoli (@Bruggers100) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 Vodafone just as bad down south, dead spots in and around my hometown, can’t get a phone signal at all at my son’s school. The companies will not invest in infrastructure. You can get a better signal in the Lake District because the infrastructure supports emergencies!

  • JohnTillUK
    John Till (@JohnTillUK) reported

@_unidropout @O2 I managed to cancel my contract with over a year to go for this very reason - just be persistent and eventually they’ll offer you the option to walk away without penalty as the only viable option.

  • donliveson
    Daniel Soho 🦋 (@donliveson) reported

@Apple stupid prices for new iPhones. £760 + and a crazy 3 year contract, @O2 Ifs over never going back into phone contract. Never
