Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Paisley and nearby locations:

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@siward77 @HuaweiMobileUK @O2 I was thinking that. O2 are being sympathetic but beyond that no offers of any help. Huawei appear to still be in denial. Posted on their fb page and they replied and deleted my comment.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 There is nowhere on your website or on correspondence a customer service phone number where this can be sorted. That is frustrating. To issue default notices when the account is net clear is a disgrace. Please DM with a phone number where I can resolve this.

  • Wolf_Q4 Lorraine (@Wolf_Q4) reported from Barrhead, Scotland

Hey @O2 can you help? I got an email saying to view my bill, but as a new customer who hasn't received handset & I dont have a phone no yet (ordered online) I can't sign up or access your services. Also you have "shut down (y)our email support service" apparently any suggestions?

  • 2916jade jade (@2916jade) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 I’ve been trying to get on live chat for ages But I can’t find it and I rly need help with something ASAP help x

  • __hatherell ☾*:・нαуℓєу∴ (@__hatherell) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 had a contactless payment amount come out of my account at £15.30 and the transaction is listened as “day to day O2”.... what is this !? Never seen it before - am I being thick?

  • mackbhoy Graeme mackie (@mackbhoy) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

Have just moved back to @O2 and wanted confirmation that my PAC code was being processed, however it appears that both chat and calls are too busy to help. Not the best of starts😐

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 PS I have been a loyal customer for around 12 years.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 You must see my frustration? I'm paying for a device that is no longer fit for purpose. A main feature no longer works. Your response is hoping @HuaweiUK release a fix soon. Huawei suggest I fix it myself. What has happened to customer service?

  • Shazzermc94 sharonm (@Shazzermc94) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

Been on hold with O2 now for 48 mins @O2 customer service isn’t great today!

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 What is the repairs process? I need my phone for banking etc, how would I go about getting a replacement? I'm happy with the phone apart from. This issue. As a long term o2 customer I'd expect a little help.

  • thorburn_fiona Fiona Thorburn (@thorburn_fiona) reported from Stepps, Scotland

    @O2 how do I cancel Disney+ payment?

  • steve5424 Stephen O'Donnell (@steve5424) reported from Cambuslang, Scotland

@O2 hey guys. I have a Galaxy S20+ 5G from you that I got in June last year. Since yesterday the volume down button has been feeling soft and spongy and no longer clicks all the time. What can I do about it?

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 It's blurry from 1x to 5x. Anything under and over works. The super Macro works. Huawei have said its a known issue they are trying to resolve via update/patch. Tried all resets. I now have a contract phone I bought for the amazing camera being useless.

  • ajohnmain Johnny Main (@ajohnmain) reported from East Kilbride, Scotland

@O2 Hi, just wondering if there are any monthly contracts for less than 36 months as seems to be the norm on your website. I don't want to be tied in for 3 years so looking for a shorter contact or will leave you after 20 years of being a customer. Thanks.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 I'd be very wary of @O2. Deals are good but in my experience customer service is atrocious

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 Support had suggested clearing caches, deleting data, restarts etc. All tried. All failed. There are no service centres here in Scotland to take the phone to. There is clearly an known issue that has affected many p30 pro users after updates. It would appear to be firmware.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

Ni'm heading to @O2 shop to cancel the WiFi hub. Touch and go whether I cancel the phone which is due for upgraded anyway. Not the first time I've had difficulty with O2 and no sensible access to customer service.

  • Haggisthelord Martin Robertson (@Haggisthelord) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@O2 My phone hasn't physically broken. It's faulted, as many other P30 pro users have experienced after an update. I need the use of my phone. This is a fault due to Huawei.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 Here we have @O2 going through the motions and doing nothing substantive to resolve my issue.

  • cathcartboy Cathcart Boy (@cathcartboy) reported from Newton Mearns, Scotland

@O2 is the most atrocious customer service ever. Yesterday @O2 went through the motions of responding. Then went quiet. Today, on 3 occasions, calls to O2 have just simply terminated. One promise of email instructions did not materialise. They haven't a clue. Seriously.

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • IVP_SUCKS OSRS bhaskar (@IVP_SUCKS) reported

@O2 I already checked it, says network is busy in my area, so busy I can't make or receive phone calls, this is unacceptable and you need to do something about it

  • Ca11um23 Callum (@Ca11um23) reported

@O2 my monthly bill is now up.. like everyone else.. but I still can’t use my unlimited data really, doesn’t load anything I have to be on the wifi, Im getting ready to go upgrade but thinking to leave if there is better connectivity out there.. any help?

  • itssamlou_ 🦋 Sam 🦋 (@itssamlou_) reported

@O2 hi just a quick question, if I cancel my Disney + extra does it end straight away?

  • rjdekanter rdekanter (@rjdekanter) reported

@2wheelsnot4 @O2 @Ofcom I don't have such an issue with an RPI increase. It's the plus 3.9% that passes me off (see also rental terms). Basically, it is an automatic 3.9% uplift in profit for doing nothing and punishes loyalty. All it does is inflate away their competitiveness and force people to move

  • SophiaaMay Sophie Tonks (@SophiaaMay) reported

@O2 I’m very doubtful as it has been like this for the 18 months I have had my contract with you. I honestly am counting down the days till I can leave!

  • nlieck Norbert Lieckfeldt 🇺🇦 (@nlieck) reported

    @ELFTMattPreston @baggybinny @O2 That’s how all trouble starts.

  • IVP_SUCKS OSRS bhaskar (@IVP_SUCKS) reported

@O2 If i go 1 mile from my house, signal is 4 or 5 bars

  • SophiaaMay Sophie Tonks (@SophiaaMay) reported

@O2 Well, it seems everywhere is “out network gets busy in this area”. Maybe you should be sorting these things up before increasing huge, unaffordable price hikes!!! Disappointing. It puts people are risk - I couldn’t access my travel pass the other day because my data is unusable!

  • rhbarnes80 russell barnes (@rhbarnes80) reported

@O2 Not very happy that my monthly mobile plan price is increasing in April, when two of my nearest mobile masts have been removed from service and i now receive limited signal strength.

  • nuclearmole Jack Morris -!- (@nuclearmole) reported

For a network that barely ever let's me have a complete phonecall or browse the internet - @O2 sure are good at putting their prices up..... Disgusting.
