@AlanKelloggs Sadly around here the Plusnet speed is DIRE, I was offline more than I was on it. Shame because I always thought their service was great everywhere else I've lived.

Like.. what I don't understand is how a Plusnet Stock Router could keep a consistent and reliable connection no matter where we were in the house, but with slow speeds - but a £460 combined, enterprise equipment can't hold a steady connection with 2.4Ghz devices? WTH..

have essentially got a monopoly on internet in UK, unless you're with Virgin, you are getting your internet from BT. Like if someone is like "I hate BT, now I get my internet from TalkTalk/PlusNet/EE/whatever, and the service is so much better", I always have to bite my tongue

Terrible service from @Plusnet they cancel our account and send debt collectors after money we don’t owe. Constant poor advice and communication #plusnet

@Plusnet 4+ hours without internet and no response from @plusnethelp. Terrible service @Plusnet

@RealCainMosni @virginmedia That's the problem, unless you use Virgin, or 4G-based internet, EVERY ISP is reliant on Openreach, because they control the infrastructure. Tony works for PlusNet, and getting Openreach engineers to do anything is a major bottleneck.

@MoneySavingExp I put up with 2mbps terrible ADSL from @plusnet for four years. Finally took the plunge with 4g Home Broadband from @ThreeUK and I'm now getting 30mbps for not much more money. Plus I never used my landline & always begrudged paying for line rental. I'd never go back.
