  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • gemmacaddell86 Gem (@gemmacaddell86) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

Saturday night to enjoy tv with willow not here and plusnet not working, awesome

  • ThinkingBlue Zos (@ThinkingBlue) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet I don't know how many more calls I can make that go unanswered. How many more times in a day my router needs reset. I'm paying for internet that doesn't work nor help that never comes

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

Is this the same for all service providers now? @UswitchUK @Plusnet @virginmedia

  • baldbookgeek William James (@baldbookgeek) reported

@DanF508 @Plusnet Great and same started slowing down and then just stopped working even after resetting my Router

  • ozric42 David Neal (@ozric42) reported

@JamesStant @bt_uk I used Plusnet since they took over Metronet in 2005 and although under the BT brand once again they operated as a separate company, I never had any issues with them. Customer Service on the few times I needed it was excellent. I only left because I ca only have fibre from Virgin

  • MoragSievwright MoragSees 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@MoragSievwright) reported

@Plusnet Pity existing domestic customers don’t have a reliable service

  • dresdeb Beccy Dresden (@dresdeb) reported

@Plusnet Hi Jess, you're at least the third member of your team to ask this! We seem to be at an impasse because I don't think it's reasonable to expect me to use a wired connection (it's not the 90s!), but you guys refuse to acknowledge there's an issue if I only use WiFi.

  • chrisbadley Chris Badley ⚽️ (@chrisbadley) reported

@Plusnet @lezmar63 Just give him a ******* router ffs, hes been a customer for 4 years, why do companies do this?! He could easily just **** you off on a months notice and then come back as a new customer if he wanted to be an arse.

  • gromit77 Neil Parry (@gromit77) reported

@Plusnet Been with you for years, biggest issue is "authentication errors" devices getting kicked off. Had it loads a while back, then it stopped now its happening again. If I'm not changing any setting & the errors goes away for months & then returns surely that suggests its your end?

  • andy17467869 andy (@andy17467869) reported

@Plusnet Hi can I add another router up stairs to get a better signal I have your internet but using a bt router

  • dresdeb Beccy Dresden (@dresdeb) reported

@sarahebourne Interesting, thank you. It's never been an issue for me before, but I've been tearing my hair out on WiFi since switching to Plusnet in July. What sort of cable lengths are you using, and do you have any brand recommendations?

  • dresdeb Beccy Dresden (@dresdeb) reported

@Plusnet Plus, as I keep explaining, the speed alone isn't the problem, it's the fact that in a matter of minutes it can vary from below 5Mbps to over 50! I just want, need and expect a consistent service, as I've had from all previous ISPs.
