@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • internetsense Philip I Wilson (@internetsense) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@Back_Two_Mee @Complyorcry Sounds wild. I go low low on all these things. Cancel ❌ them, move them. Talktalk or Plusnet (Plusnet is BT) use Now tv rather than Sky Sports etc etc

  • gemmacaddell86 Gem (@gemmacaddell86) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

  • ThinkingBlue Zos (@ThinkingBlue) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@Plusnet I don't know how many more calls I can make that go unanswered. How many more times in a day my router needs reset. I'm paying for internet that doesn't work nor help that never comes

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • krislord Kris Lord (@krislord) reported

@Plusnet I got it sorted, issue was I was the order in which I did things. Changed eero first then plusnet hub and that connected. Apparently eero needed to still have internet access when enabling PPPoE mode.

  • RodGray87 Fly Cup (@RodGray87) reported

@Plusnet I'm back in the UK now. I lost about £30 from obscene Plusnet roaming data charges just by turning on my phone. £6 per MB and no data purchase option is daylight robbery. So unless you can help with that, then no I probably don't still need help. Thanks for asking tho.

  • ShineyCat Chris 🇺🇦 (@ShineyCat) reported

@Plusnet He’s got MH issues, which is why I’m the named second person on the account. He’s had two episodes because of this now so you can imagine how I might be feeling… we are looking at cancelling and switching providers. Less than 20 minutes to go. It’s clearly not happening, again.

  • djc22 David Campbell (@djc22) reported

@ThreeUK how much longer do I have to put up with a rubbish network while your engineers work on a mast??? My house runs on Wi-Fi. It now can’t! 6 years with plusnet without missing a beat, 3 months with you and everything falls apart. I can’t even get a signal in every room!

  • jermyn55 Paul Jermyn (@jermyn55) reported

@Ofcom, you keep telling us to send scam messages to 7726 BUT what if the provider does not support this option i.e. @Plusnet so perhaps you should make it a requirement that all providers do allow its customers to do so ?

  • Simon_Costigan Simon Costigan (@Simon_Costigan) reported

Just listening to @astro_timpeake on @RadioX he can get WiFi in space he’s certainly not using @Plusnet like me I can’t get a signal 2 feet from the router! #space #radiox #WiFi

@plusnet I've had a 'why did you leave' email from you. The links in it are wrong - the email doesn't have a live link from "start the survey". And if I follow the 'Can't see this email" route it opens in a browser and the "start the survey" link still doesn't work.

  • cookingincornw1 cookingincornwall (@cookingincornw1) reported

@Plusnet Sorry still need help didn’t see reply

  • Skellyfree Sheila Freeman (@Skellyfree) reported

Seeing as @JohnLewisRetail and @Plusnet think 3 months down the line, illegally deducting money from an ex-customer on pension credit is fine, I have sorted it myself, from helping mum to claim the fees back from her bank. Try and challenge, we'll see you in court. Charlatans!
