@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

@CraigPWilson Once your current service goes off, switch over the routers. It may not work straight away as the Fibre work will be on going but we'll drop you a text and email once it's ready to use. - Curtis, Plusnet Sheffield

@Plusnet Seriously, @Plusnet? You promised no break in service, cut our service off, and 2 full days later it is not on. Oh but I got a text msg saying 'there's a delay' (no explanation, no timeline) so that's OK?

  • OliverJSmith Oliver Smith (@OliverJSmith) reported

We currently have digital voice via FTTC from BT. Do you @plusnet support digital voice yet? What would happen if I switched to you? Does your router support the portable phones supplied by BT?

  • TonyBro53815660 Tony Brown (@TonyBro53815660) reported

  • SamuelR Sam (@SamuelR) reported

@Plusnet I was told by tech support to buy a new microfilter and that I would be able to have the credit for it applied to my account - however the person I spoke to did not open a ticket or any way for me to send the receipt. Can you please help?

@Plusnet my nanna's internet went off last week. We phoned Saturday afternoon and your agent was amazing & did a lot to help. He sent out a new router which has resolved the problem & even kept in touch with me personally to tell me he'd sent the router. Amazing customer service.

@loupnefc I'm now with bt mobile on sim only. There's also plusnet. Both use the ee network. I don't think plusnet do phones though, pretty sure bt do. EE are horribly expensive which is y I decided to go sim only
