  • cattt82 Cat Taylor (@cattt82) reported from Jordanstown, Northern Ireland

@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

  • PaulReid74 Paul Reid (@PaulReid74) reported from Dundonald, Northern Ireland

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

  • itconor itconor (@itconor) reported from Comber, Northern Ireland

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

  • nigelivy Nigel Ivy (@nigelivy) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

@Plusnet Is there an outage in Edinburgh (EH10) just now? My internet connection's been off since around 1am.

  • gibbo2257 Lee Gibson (@gibbo2257) reported

@VodafoneUK Over 3 days now. Do you think its acceptable considering I amongst other people are in lockdown and relying heavily on a stable Internet connection? No one from EE, plusnet, BT are experiencing issues like this that I'm aware of. Such poor service from yourselves

  • laurab197522 lb12345 (@laurab197522) reported

@Plusnet hi I cannot connect my phone to the WiFi? It’s always been ok on plus net but now our phones only won’t connect. Both phones connect in a different WiFi zone but not at home. Please help as my data is running low and I’m a key worker

  • Isolde1231 Deborah J (@Isolde1231) reported

@MrsTWymer @virginmedia I confronted my provider with the fact I could go elsewhere and they dropped my bill accordingly. Plusnet via John Lewis/Waitrose. Excellent customer service and good speed in leafy Finstock

  • logicmonkey0 Piers (Ali) Barber (@logicmonkey0) reported

30 minute support call to @Plusnet cost me over 20 quid Bye bye Plusnet

  • DrLucid man of mystery (@DrLucid) reported

@MarcAllera @plusnethelp Not happy with #Plusnet under question 212234830. broadband issues for 4wks. Engineer visited & finally found issue with line climbed pole switched connection point. I updated PN at every stage. Now landed with charge! Pls check log carefully & rescind

  • JackMilson JackMilson (@JackMilson) reported

@plusnethelp Plusnet just chilling as we work up a massive data bill while WFH - waiting for them to solve something on their end, will their call back ever come? Great first impressions for a new customer.

  • dutton_craig Dutton (@dutton_craig) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet moved home 2 weeks ago and ever since, my wifi is constantly dropping out. Tried the instructions to change the channels etc but same issue. Terrible service considering I had to pay +£100 to move and your next suggestion was paying for a new router.

  • ChloeRaccoon Chloe Cresswell (@ChloeRaccoon) reported

sync of 66mbps down, 20mbps up, throughput of 19.5/19.5, @Plusnet think it's a line fault dispite the line carrying 40/2 before the change from fibre unlimited to fibre unlimited extra. A configuration change. I'm running PPPoE directly into the modem...

  • fauziaahmad07 Fauzia💙 (@fauziaahmad07) reported

@Matthew_Wright @virginmedia I was with virgin media for years and broadband was great. No trouble at all where I am. Guess it depends on location. Perhaps best to see which broadband your neighbours recommend. I'm with sky just now. they are ok, but not as fast as virgin media. I avoid plusnet and talktalk
