@nornirishfella Plusnet are woeful. My mum was with them until a few months ago, hated her WiFi. We were with sky but we maxed out at 35-40 most of the time, nothing they could do to make it faster. But only got Virgin in when we upgraded to a 65” TV & buffering became an issue.

@jasonsloan46 @virginmedia Landed up cancelling and going with Plusnet. I'm so over paying premium prices for subpar customer service & their product is so unreliable.

@Paul__Buckle @DannyCowanVO @bt_uk @Plusnet I've been with Plusnet for several years now too, never had an issue (touch wood)... only issue was @BTCare refusing to believe that I had actually left them, and sending me emails threatening to cut me off, and telling me I owed them money for a service I was no longer getting.

@DannyCowanVO @Paul__Buckle @bt_uk @Plusnet @BTCare My advice... as soon as you leave BT, cancel your direct debit.

@stuffierescue Been with PlusNet for years, good customer service. That said, we're very rural, so I can't comment on whether they do excellent broadband speed.

Well Done. EE is a wholly owned subsidiary of BT, and is being used as its main marketing arm. Plusnet is another, more at the budget end, and with fewer strings to its bow. Finally, Openreach is another subsidiary that installs and maintains the network for all suppliers, so it has a degree of autonomy.

@Plusnet current customer on broadband 50mbs looking to upgrade to 500mbs. Will I need a new router and hence all passwords change?

Trying to get sense from their chatbot Tobi is virtually impossible. Speaking to humans in customer service and being passed to someone else who supposedly tested my line was worse than frustrating. I never had this crap from old Plusnet.

@Plusnet you have falsely sold me a new c2 year contract . Unable to get through to you. You have done nothing to help me, given me lip service to continue to be a customer . Falsely selling me a 2 year contract . Disgusting
