  • kouya

@Plusnet I realise that outages happen. However, your lack of communication on the issue was serious. If the internet is down, I need information so that I can structure my work day. Talk to us when things go wrong.

Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

@Plusnet have always been my provider because of their customer service, but I’m feeling pretty messed about right now

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

Alright so a question for you all, over the past two months, we had our internet installation by Plusnet and Openreach rescheduled 10 times, openreach just never turned up, there’s been no actual explanation as to why, just call after call of rude people at customer services (1)

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

It’s been two months now @Plusnet @plusnethelp and we’re not getting any messages regarding the compensation we rightly deserve. All messages and emails are being ignored. Tomorrow we will be contacting the ombudsman, your customer service just isn’t good enough

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

I’ve woken up still feeling angry about last night, so god help @Plusnet if they don’t connect the broadband today

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

Imagine Plusnet calling you out of the blue, and then the customer service man raising his voice. It’s not acceptable.

  • pearsoninsight
Adam Pearson (@pearsoninsight) reported from Laneshaw Bridge, England

@garethkthomas @Plusnet Thanks, Gareth. Yeah we actually switched from Plusnet last month, to Vodafone for faster fibre. Feeling like a mistake. Plusnet miles better at customer service.

  • Porter__Face
Richard Porter (@Porter__Face) reported from Queensbury, England

Plusnet are you just a bloke in a shed in Sheffield .. system down no website now you phone lines are down

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

@Ofcom Thank you! Do you also provide information on poor customer service and delays with plusnet? We waited two months for WiFi and haven’t had a sincere apology as of yet

  • MShacks
Michael Shackleton (@MShacks) reported from Accrington, England

Warning ***Switchboards at BT, Virgin. Talk Talk, Sky and Plusnet are blocked with over 14 million people trying to reconnect to a broadband service they had cancelled from today.

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

In the ongoing @plusnethelp @Plusnet saga, I received an email (following a voicemail because I wasn’t expecting anyone to actually respond to me) offering me £50 and a months free broadband... now, here’s the problem with this... -1

  • kouya
Eddie Arthur (@kouya) reported from Steeton with Eastburn, England

@Plusnet Just a suggestion; but when your service is down across the country, you might want to disperse with the timed tweets. They are not a good look.

  • kouya
Eddie Arthur (@kouya) reported from Steeton with Eastburn, England

Is anyone who follows me on @Plusnet and if so do you have a working internet connection? It seems as though there is a serious nationwide outage.

  • kouya
Eddie Arthur (@kouya) reported from Steeton with Eastburn, England

@plusnethelp @Plusnet over the last few days our internet connection has become VERY unreliable. Devices all connect to the hub fine, but internet connection is slow or nonexistent much of the time.

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

Three times in the past two days the @Plusnet broadband goes down, and we still haven’t had any news on our compensation

  • zandersblack
alexander black (@zandersblack) reported from Higham-with-West Close Booth, England

@Plusnet hi, there is no broadband service today in postcode bb12 9hh, including other service providers, are plusnet aware?

  • HattieBeeVint
Hattie Bee (@HattieBeeVint) reported from Skipton, England

In a customer service job, you do not take an attitude with the customer, whether you think they are in the wrong or not (we were not). You smile, through your teeth if you have to, and remain polite. You do not raise your voice. @plusnethelp @Plusnet

@Plusnet Thanks. I'll do that. Now, please ponder on the absurdity of the fact that in order to ask a simple question one needs to go to the "Make a Complaint" section - and that someone who works as a software engineer building end-user systems couldn't find it on their own...

  • MachLoopWales
    MachLoopWales (@MachLoopWales) reported

@Nolberto099 @ArmchairAdml Not missing the point at all. Well done. It's a common business model to increase charges after the 'new customer' period. There's no loyalty either way, just leave and get the same service from Plusnet/EE (same company as BT) for far less. Takes minutes.

  • davmitt
    dave mitton (@davmitt) reported

@Plusnet brilliant, coming up to the end of my contract and all of a sudden your internet has gone proper ****, surely you should be making it better so I renew

  • karencerrig
    Karen Kelly (@karencerrig) reported

@Plusnet Hi. I've had a letter saying my broadband and phone service will be transferred to EE soon. As there is not fibre option (only copper) how is this going to work? Many thanks.

  • RedDyke69
    Red **** (@RedDyke69) reported

@Benleo Damn those half-Spanish-owned companies, eh? Why not go with a good solid British-owned broadband provider like Zen Internet, Plusnet or Andrews & Arnold or even good old BT! It seems a classic case of “do as I say, not as I do” — preaching economic nationalism while happily relying on foreign-owned services to **** up your broadband !

  • btc8500
    Jason (@btc8500) reported

@Plusnet I’ve spoken to the team and they told me to change the channels on the router but the problem is you don’t actually supply hardware with the capability to do the speed over Wi-Fi. So unless I buy an adapter to my phones and tablets the speed is POINTLESS 😱😱

  • jakehumphrys
    Jake (@jakehumphrys) reported

@Plusnet @bt_uk It's been reported on PN, BT and EE forums now but there seems to be a regional issue with your GGC cache (specifically affecting some in the North West / Wales and Midlands) When Connecting to rr5---sn-cu-cime7 and others there's a bad initcwnd that lowers speed

  • hangrenade86
    Sinead 🏳️‍🌈 (@hangrenade86) reported

@Plusnet is there an email contact that I can use to cancel my order?

  • egrefen
    Edward Grefenstette (@egrefen) reported

@Plusnet I tried replying to the open ticket and it says inbox full. Tried calling and over 10 minutes wait. Sorry but this is too bad a start so I'll just cancel my plan.

  • cureisworse
    TheCureIsWorseThanTheDisease (@cureisworse) reported

@Plusnet my full fibre was supposed to be installed yesterday afternoon but nobody showed up. I called at 6pm and waited 30 mins to get through to be told they didn't know what was going on. Can you help?
