Plusnet Issues Reports Near Accrington, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Accrington and nearby locations:

  • DavidWildJnr David (@DavidWildJnr) reported from Whitworth, England

@Plusnet The BT service obligations (USO) states that my postcode is capable of 10Mb speeds and therefore is not eligible for upgrade. However you can only supply sub 5Mbs service. Can you explain the difference in the two scenarios.

  • emmabirdy Em (@emmabirdy) reported from Blackburn, England

Thank you to the wonderful Emma from @Plusnet customer services team last night who is helping solve my internet issues and also made an hour on the phone to a call centre feel like 2 mins!! Let’s hope the engineer can fix it today #everythingscrossed #plusnet

  • MShacks Michael Shackleton (@MShacks) reported from Accrington, England

Warning ***Switchboards at BT, Virgin. Talk Talk, Sky and Plusnet are blocked with over 14 million people trying to reconnect to a broadband service they had cancelled from today.

  • harriLa77 Lee Harrison (@harriLa77) reported from Rawtenstall, England

@OpenreachHelp sort out loss of Internet sky, talktalk, plusnet down you OL13 9LP BELLENDS

  • pearsoninsight Adam Pearson (@pearsoninsight) reported from Laneshaw Bridge, England

@garethkthomas @Plusnet Thanks, Gareth. Yeah we actually switched from Plusnet last month, to Vodafone for faster fibre. Feeling like a mistake. Plusnet miles better at customer service.

  • CrysTalksVlogs Crystal (@CrysTalksVlogs) reported

I could never get involved in a virtual TV audience, my Internet cuts out way too often, cheers Plusnet 🙄👍. Would love to know what broadband providers the #SaturdayNightTakeaway audience use lol

  • Sir_Livers Livers Delivers (@Sir_Livers) reported

@AFCAMDEN I moved from Canada Water to Kent and we had Sky (shite) 2-5gbps Changed to Vodafone (good when kids at school awful from 5pm) went to Plusnet (uses BT and were ok) needed more last year as all at home.

  • Doppeltag Richard Doubleday 💙 (@Doppeltag) reported

@DavidGArnold @bt_uk Funny how I’ve had problems with not only BT themselves in the past but also Openreach and Plusnet (both BT companies)?! TalkTalk also come under the BT umbrella so have avoided them like the plague! And everyone else’s (bar Virgin) come over the BT network! #monopolyanyone

  • keavaoloan Keava (@keavaoloan) reported

@Mummiesguide @plusnethelp It’s standard with Plusnet, unfortunately. We’ve been with them through a home move on totally different sides of Liverpool, location doesn’t seem to matter; service is reliably diabolical.

  • jatroa Jatroa 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (@jatroa) reported

@plusnethelp Thank you. But, oddly enough, I am capable if looking this sort of thing up. Do you always assume plusnet customers are this stupid? - Note the ‘no comment’ on the routers tho’.

  • Stevewhi2 Stevewhi (@Stevewhi2) reported

@Plusnet not happy. Cancelled service, out of contract, told to ignore request for money, then told owe 3.58 if not paid bailiffs but no one answering phone or texts

  • finduramit Amit Gupta (@finduramit) reported

@keavaoloan @plusnethelp @Plusnet It's been such a bad decision really. Internet at home is useless we are having to use mobile data for uploading school homework. Can't believe they can get away like that.

  • keavaoloan Keava (@keavaoloan) reported

@finduramit @plusnethelp @Plusnet Amit, we are in the exact same boat. I hope you can leave without buying your way out, as it’s unfair when you’ve been paying for months for an unusable service. Wishing you better luck than we have had with our fault questions (they stopped allowing us to upload updates).

  • GrahameHorner GrahameHorner (@GrahameHorner) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp have intermittent modem reboots and drop of bandwidth to approx 25mbps download. Are there any issues with #business services in the NE31 postcode area ? been on going for 3 days now.

  • Grizzle8814 Grizzle (@Grizzle8814) reported

@plusnethelp @Plusnet Sent a message to the help page regarding an issue with my activation date. Says on my account page that my broadband order should take a week to complete and I haven't received any emails or information about my router and my activation date
