Warning ***Switchboards at BT, Virgin. Talk Talk, Sky and Plusnet are blocked with over 14 million people trying to reconnect to a broadband service they had cancelled from today.

@Plusnet almost £300 early termination taken on a contract cancelled in error by PlusNet. . so agreed refund should be immediate. 3 days and counting . . its January. worst month possible to have unexpected hit.

@Plusnet Thanks. More than 5 days later I still have no internet or phone line, which is very frustrating and inconvenient. Also frustrating is that I have to phone your customer service every day for an update. Is there no system in place for you to keep me updated?

@MartinSLewis Sky are the worst to haggle with! I spent an hour and a half haggling with Sky, and the best they could do was £15 on top of what we were originally paying! In January Sky wanted £150 a month!! No chance! Now with Plusnet, and paying £32 a month!! Much better speed too!!

@Plusnet Hi, I am getting issues with my speed when using a VPN I have to use one as its my company one, I get 54mbps without it being on and 590kbps with it on, is there a router setting that is throttling this connection? Andrew
