@PostOffice Hi Jess - I'm through the queue now though it took a decent while, about 20 mins' wait I think so not unbearable. Credit to the staff who remained cheery and efficient throughout; seems the self service POS were down, which explains the extra queue-y queue! Thanks for responding.

@PostOffice Thank you. It really is atrocious business practice. This is what happens when private enterprise takes over public service.

  • TheBigfellainc

@leebbailey @PostOffice Biggest problem is that they have their own investigative/prosecution team. There are no checks and balances. The police/cps way isn’t perfect but I’d like to think they’d have worked out that 700+ people aren’t all ripping them off using exact same methods!

Post Office Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ravi_fit
    RAVI RANJAN (@ravi_fit) reported

@IndiaPostOffice is one of the most inefficient public service institutions, suffering from poor accountability, lack of ownership, and an outdated customer experience. Employees often appear insulated from the consequences of poor service, which ultimately hurts citizens. If meaningful reforms are not possible within the current structure, the government should seriously consider privatization or introducing greater competition to bring accountability, efficiency, and customer-centricity into the system. @JM_Scindia, some immediate reforms that can significantly improve India Post: • Mandatory acceptance of UPI and digital payments at every post office. • Clearly defined and publicly visible SLAs for all services. • Mandatory explanations and accountability whenever an SLA is breached. • A designated officer/team responsible for every stage of a service request. • A centralized grievance, escalation, and resolution system with proper tracking. • Real-time service tracking and greater transparency. • Regular publication of performance and grievance-resolution metrics. India Post serves millions of citizens. It deserves a system built on accountability, ownership, and measurable service standards. #postoffice

@PostOffice The main PO in Cambridge has NO SERVICE. No Evri, no PO parcels. No pick up. No driop off. People are being turned away at the door. Your piece of junk system finally died, huh?!

  • Julian2017124
    julian (@Julian2017124) reported

Unlike my experiences with @PostOffice and @WilliamHill who fought me every single step, refused to apologise, and never properly fixed their mistakes, at least Sky has shown a real difference. This highlights how some companies seem to think they’re above the law, above being challenged, and completely unaccountable for their actions and decisions. Importantly, it’s not about companies always giving in or admitting the customer is right every single time sometimes the customer can be wrong. But when the customer has clear evidence that proves their side of the story beyond reasonable doubt, it shouldn’t be difficult for a company to simply say: “Yes, we made a mistake here’s your full payout.” Take the £5.75 @WilliamHill owed/owes me but refused and still refusing to pay properly they should have just admitted the error and fixed it. Why do some companies struggle so much to be honest and say sorry when things go wrong? It doesn’t have to end in long adjudication processes or court battles. Disputes should be settled fairly and quickly through agreement, not turned into fights.

@bookbird71 @Lindseyy888 @PostOffice There’s your bizarre view of reality again. Have you read anything about the post office scandal? I feel really sorry for you that you have such an unrealistic view of what customer service is, how it’s achieved and how unachievable it is in the present day.

  • NatashaHings
    Natasha Hings (@NatashaHings) reported

Imagine walking to a @PostOffice and wanting to buy an envelope because you don’t have any at home, and there are no shops nearby; to be told they don’t have any. Not only this, but to be repeatedly met with resistant, rude and unhelpful ‘customer service’.

  • NodstahNash
    kaleniUK (@NodstahNash) reported

@TamesideCorr Improve? If it's anything like ours on Ashton under Lyne the service will get worse? The @PostOffice just cut serving people, tills to serve, self service machines always switched off and prices continue to rise Good old British Companies

  • NotMerkle

@DrMarianaClaire @PostOffice Because I terrible with money and need to be proactive because I will over spend and end up in the minus

  • roodskins

@PostOffice This is absurd. Why are the opening hours for Aberdare Delivery Office so poor? Open today 8am till 10am. How are these opening times feasible for people who work? Surely you need to be opening longer.

  • kwel_niks
    Nikhil Patel (@kwel_niks) reported

@JM_Scindia the only reason i logged a complaint was because I couldn't visit the postoffice, the resolution remarks states "kindly visit nearest postoffice", can someone help me?
