-
Cressida Ford (@CressidaFord) reported from Cardiff, Wales@PostOffice Hi Jess - I'm through the queue now though it took a decent while, about 20 mins' wait I think so not unbearable. Credit to the staff who remained cheery and efficient throughout; seems the self service POS were down, which explains the extra queue-y queue! Thanks for responding.
-
Cllr Stephen Marshall (@StephenMNewport) reported from Newport, Wales@PostOffice travel card customer service line cuts off with no chance to speak to a customer services agent. I only want to renew the expired card I have 😬😬

Ellie Silcox 🎗️ (@Ellie_Silcox) reported from Pontnewydd, Wales@RogerPlater @PostOffice It's an ID verification check for my Uni course. Basically the website says you can get it done at any post office and I've been to a small one and a large one and no one can help.
-
Ben Maizey (@BlockA_Row3) reported from Cardiff, Wales@PostOffice @RoyalMailHelp Many Thanks - have tweeted as customer services weren't too bothered or concerned when we raised the issue yesterday.
-

Caroline vickery (@Caddy9274) reported from Cardiff, Wales@PostOffice Hi Tom, there was a queue but the problem is only having one post office for the whole of Cardiff city centre.1000’s of workers with only an hour max for lunch, my office is at least 15 min walk away, 3/4 of break spent trying to post a parcel!!!
-
David Collyer FRPS #leica #fujifilm (@nedsoldman) reported from Abergavenny, Wales@PostOffice Thank you. It really is atrocious business practice. This is what happens when private enterprise takes over public service.
-
Panda Education (@PandaEduLtd) reported from Caerphilly, Wales@PostOffice please can we speak to a human. We have a recorded delivery item that has gone missing. We have been though the automated system and checked on line which says the item is being returned to sender. But it hasn’t. We have been on hold for 26 minutes. Please help.
-
Hot Dog Trainer (@ondineb) reported from Ferndale, Wales@PostOffice @RoyalMailHelp I think I'll tea reach out to @MindCharity who sends a broken bloody QR code?
-
TheBigFella💙 (@TheBigfellainc) reported from Cardiff, Wales@leebbailey @PostOffice Biggest problem is that they have their own investigative/prosecution team. There are no checks and balances. The police/cps way isn’t perfect but I’d like to think they’d have worked out that 700+ people aren’t all ripping them off using exact same methods!
-
Ellie Silcox 🎗️ (@Ellie_Silcox) reported from Pontnewydd, WalesI am actually sick to death of the service offered by @PostOffice I've been to 2 branches now and neither of them can help. And frankly don't know where I can get help.
-
Vince Cox (@vincecox50) reported from Abergavenny, Wales@PostOffice Abergavenny counter staff must be given the biggest jobs worth award possible ! Talk about UNHELPFUL! They talk to you like your an idiot, are must unhelpful and look at you as if you’ve crawled out from under a rock! Disgusting service.
Post Office Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Malty, but nice 😻🐧 (@artbookreviews) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Online is cheaper, but that's a massive difference. Are you sure it was the same service (letter vs packet)? Counters sometimes manage (🤔) to offer the most expensive option.
-
BEAMS Consultants UK (@BEAMSEDU) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice This must be the strategic move to CLOSE DOWN all post offices
-
shivendra Mittal (@shivendra2304) reported@IndiaPostOffice No action was taken before closing the complaint on delivery guy who is asking to get the parcel/document from postoffice instead of delivering it to the respective addresses. Complaints No- 2453147270
-
Katie MacScottie (@katiegilchrist) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice It’s because profit at the counter is more important than service at some POs. My local is like a bartering situation. They start at the highest price and I have to keep saying “no, I don’t need that, what’s the cheapest?” several times until I get what is quoted online.
-
invs86 (@DeviousPL) reported@19user84 @DonaldPond6 @PostOffice It’s not Royal Mail, it’s the Post Office. They seem to think they can charge more for the service for some reason, so if you buy it yourself through RM it’s cheaper.
-
Anon Socials (@AnonSocials) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Post Office has absolutely nothing to do with the Royal Mail - totally separate businesses. RM understandably don't want to have to pay the Post Office fees/commissions so encourage people to buy online. Also better for customer service issues afterwards.
-
PJDCUMS (@pjdcums) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice The local post office is about to close - when I asked why he told me this exact same thing. He has to charge far more than people can buy the same service online. The Post Office hates local post masters. Probably trying to recoup the Horizon compensation from them!
-
Tony Montgomery (@TonyMontgomery1) reported@PostOffice another example of extreme poor service. Apparently, attempted a delivery at a primary school but no-one was there. Legal and security requirement for schools to be manned and message advising redelivery for tomorrow, when the school is closed!! 🤔
-
julian (@Julian2017124) reported@PostOffice have now rejected my appeal (CAS-4635853-Q1P0W7) regarding the abuse I experienced at the Camberwell branch. After my FOI revealed 96 complaints in just 5 years at that single branch with a shocking 61.5% tactical closure rate they still refuse to uphold my complaint or even give a proper apology. They’re clearly gatekeeping the branch to keep it open, and this level of customer mistreatment is completely unacceptable in 2026. Post Office Management need to realise: I’m not going to let this go away until a reasonable resolution has been made. My next step is to take it to an independent body. However, @PostOffice still hasn’t informed me whether they’re part of any Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme or process something they are required to do. I’ve already referred the matter to Trading Standards and requested all records under GDPR. The fight continues. #PostOffice #CamberwellPostOffice

Emma Holdsworth (@ESzczambur93581) reported@DonaldPond6 @PostOffice Post offices and Royal Mail are a corrupt organisation - yes some staff went through hell and they should be compensated but Japan’s probably trying to work out which fraud was the errors of software and which were errors of Royal Mail
