  • fiona_j_7
Fiona Jack (@fiona_j_7) reported from Bexhill-on-Sea, England

@SkyUK being advised to use your online service of which I’ve done after making a 3rd call for the same issue after having 2 engineers sent you...... clearly I already did that no one wants a painful hour conversation where your not trusted to plug something in correctly

  • BobsterDrumhead
Bobster (@BobsterDrumhead) reported from Hastings, England

The difference in agendas is if @Arsenal had been 0-2 down & bagged a late winner in a cup match the usual @SkySports pundits would be lining up the ‘club in a rut’ cliches & the #ArtetaOut brigade firing up their Twitter accounts. Football reporting is just so tabloid

Sky Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PorscheTime
    PorscheTime (@PorscheTime) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK My 77yo MIL was recently scammed out of 75,000 by fraudsters and M&S, MBNA and Santander also loaned her 20,15 and 20k . Problem is she didn’t apply and is a pensioner living alone, half deaf and early stage cognitive decline . The police are looking into the fraud which involved clearing her savings accounts at BoS, opening a Revolut and Kraken crypto account to funnel all the money to from her savings accounts and the loans on top. To say the BoScotland, Revolut , M&S, MBNA and Kraken have been unhelpful is an understatement of enormous proportions. The elderly need better protection from services that insist they hold online accounts. How does anyone lend a 77year old 55,000 in 48 hours with no affordability checks or veracity checks and then only want to talk about paying on time. The elderly are so vulnerable online and none seems to give a monkeys. BoS allowed over 130,000 to flow in and out her bank account over an 8 day period on an account that averaged 280 pounds per month flows over the last 2 years and total balance never changed more than 1-2,000 in that time. M&S will lend online easily but to complain or speak to anyone about you have to write to them and after doing so they refuse to discuss it . The elderly are cannon fodder online.

@Chels_HQ @_DOLLARPI @SkySports Thing is I can’t stand these owners BTW. But we are literally not a feeder club lol name me one star we have sold that the fans didn’t want to let go? People push narrative but it’s just a **** project at this point.

  • DividendChief
    The DividendChief (@DividendChief) reported

@SkySports Get these ugly ******* ***** off men's football or otherwise you'll be going the same way as #footballfocus Talking absolute ******* garbage. DEI doesn't work hence you are losing thousands of viewers a week. Who's financing your loss of revenue? #dei #woke

  • llewellyna071

Mike F. Common Sense Respecter (@MikeyF88970088) reported

@jammierooroo @Noritaeden @SkyUK I had a similar experience with their Indian call ctr. I called back and demanded to speak to someone in the UK (they have a call ctr in Scotland). The guy was v helpful and easy to understand. Got my bill down by over £45 a month. Moral of story, demand to speak to a brit!

  • emo9549
    emo9549 (@emo9549) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK The respect that older people would get from my generation has almost disappeared . You read on some platforms, youngsters insulting and just being downright rude to seniors and I think it's dreadful. Another part of the, mainly Left/Woke, problems we have in this World today.

  • SusanWa02526665

@jammierooroo @SkyUK When my mum was in a similar position (no sky ) but recently bereaved we told her to,say no to any calls for any services be it to change landline, energy provider etc. Shame you didn’t tell your mum the same as she would have just put the phone down. £110 a month? What for?
