AMY BOWLING (@coolkitten29) reported from Grantown on Spey, Scotland@SkyHelpTeam I am absolutely angry with Sky about how they have treated my mum with her recent problems with Sky. Not one person sorted her problem for her. She’s 70 and been a loyal customer for 15 years . Why have you not got a live chat service either??

shells (@31Shells) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK I worked for BT retentions briefly, spoke to an elderly widow . BT sales had previously sold her a package, fibre, BT tv, BT sports and a bunch of add ons. she only used her landline, spoke to my manager and got it all cancelled without cost. Poor lady was taken advantage of 100%

Gareth Lewis (@garethlewis1959) reported@woody2235554 @jammierooroo @SkyUK My point was that they seemed more amenable to deal with than some bodies. British Gas I won't go near again: BT mis-sold me a package then because I was just outside the 14 day cooling off period said £2000k to cancel!

Allan Colcombe (@theoldbloke) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK There’s a cooling-off clause on all phone contracts (ex-Sky customer here) so she should get it corrected.

String of Ears (@string_of_ears) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK You can invoke the cooldown clause. With every contract like this, there's a fixed amount of time during which you can cancel without any penalties.
