Sky Issues Reports Near Redruth, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Redruth and nearby locations:

  • Poldisleftpeg Brad (@Poldisleftpeg) reported from Saint Agnes, England

So @SkySports have done videos of Mesut Ozil’s goals. He’s got some crackers. It’s quite sad, once you see past all the ****. He was may favourite player outside of Arsenal in 2013. Now he virtually means nothing. That feeling changed in an Arsenal shirt. That makes me sad.

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

Example of how I fell for a trap 18-month contract with @SkyHelpTeam. Go to record Inside Number 9. Autoselects HD. I cancelled HD so it would fail. I go to other formats select SD have to cancel HD first to make space. Could it give me choice not steal all that time?

  • NDK72 Nigel K (@NDK72) reported from Falmouth, England

Hey @SkyHelpTeam is there a problem with TV at the moment? Can’t get any channels. We’re in the TR11 Falmouth Cornwall area. Broadband, Netflix etc working still though.

  • ClaireIrons3 Claire Irons (@ClaireIrons3) reported from Truro, England

@SkyHelpTeam why is my internet down in Cornwall?

  • richarddrew788 Richard Drew (@richarddrew788) reported from Redruth, England

@DarrenWolves @SkySports Not bad for a Liverpool supporter

  • james_grogan _James (@james_grogan) reported from Porthleven, England

@SkyUK impossible to get any help at all, customer support is tragic. The prices you charge too! #IJustWantToWatchF1

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@wired2thebrink @SkyHelpTeam I'm getting other things OK. Just out of synch with a recording from yesterday. Maybe things were down then as I couldn't see subtitles oon things I wanted to record yesterday.

  • Jeanniec007 Jeannie Cain (@Jeanniec007) reported from Truro, England

@SkyHelpTeam It's resolved now but I had been online and working through your loop never ever to find a phone number to a human or to resolve the issue

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

The #subtitles are far out of synch on The Paper Tigers @SkyHelpTeam I notice a silence about more than halving the #SkyCinema service also.

  • Omodon Dermot O Callaghan (@Omodon) reported from Quintrell Downs, England

How awful is Soccer AM on @SkySports now, waiting for the @Carabao_Cup draw and can’t watch these idiots anymore, will catch up on who @LCFC face in the next round on here later..

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@SkyHelpTeam Thank you NW. I will if the subtitles disappear. Sometimes it has been my wifi signal. Sometimes a blip elsewhere.

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@SkyHelpTeam You're sorry I take issue? Take some responsibility please. How rude. I provided information that Playing God is a film on Sky Cinema, see the thread, which I watched in HD and Tony asked which episode it was. A week before Jason replied to thank me for reporting the issue.

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@SkyHelpTeam Thanks Becca. I got around the problem, as kept switching to SD but it kept throwing up barriers to entry. Monday morning is not when am focusing on TV viewing so any replies will do later.

  • jsteed773 John Steed MBE (@jsteed773) reported from Helford, England

@SkyHelpTeam seriously unhappy with Sky I ordered TV, Talk and BB in early August and still have no BB. A series of delays, confused instructions to Open Reach and now even the Recovery Team cannot resolve. Seriously bad service I wish I had gone elsewhere !

  • ClaireIrons3 Claire Irons (@ClaireIrons3) reported from Truro, England

@SkyHelpTeam why is my internet down again...Truro in Cornwall?

  • sophiehellyer Sophie Hellyer (@sophiehellyer) reported from Saint Agnes, England

    @SkyHelpTeam HELP!

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@SkyHelpTeam Hi Tony, thank you for saying that. By giving me the info that the issue was reported previously (by me last week) and subtitles now showing, to delete and download again it would have saved time and stress. My responses are feedback to how you came across. Info before questions

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@SkyHelpTeam Oh no. Thank you for the warnings. However, I was having this issue with Series 1, which I am rewatching before series 2. It seems as if I have to do a huge route around for each episode. Surely the decision to watch is with viewers to decide what themes are sensitive?

  • cornishsportG mark (@cornishsportG) reported from Flushing, England

@SkyHelpTeam charging a 20 year customer who is on furlough in a global pandemic and can't afford it 60 quid to cancel sky sports off the contract is a pretty terrible thing to isn't it . What a lovely company you are .

  • sophsweet Sophie Sweatman (@sophsweet) reported from Falmouth, England

@SkyHelpTeam Had you checked this issue was fixed and then suggested I deleted and downloaded again it would have saved me time and stress. The ability to see this from a customer perspective helps instead of entitlement. Asking format and episode for a film was irrelevant and disrespectful.

Sky Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • GGMUUTID GGMU (@GGMUUTID) reported

@SkySports "We love gay people and lads who wanna be girls, but the homeless can **** right off" - The Prem

  • tustuleca Susana Klien (@tustuleca) reported

@SkyHelpTeam @skyuk hi, Internet not working since 8pm in Stoke Newington. Any update about that?

  • irrelevantmouse Ian Young (@irrelevantmouse) reported

@SkySports Can you try some real journalism and give us the details of why it was refused? From a fans perspective it seems rediculous, but will assume there is some bylaw. If not, then I'm sorry to say, **** the PL

  • jackoroberts Jacko Justin Roberts (@jackoroberts) reported

@SkySports The prem league say they encourage teams to support charities. So surely if all 20 teams agree on doing this the prem league should step aside? Clearly they ain’t getting any backhanders from it so it doesn’t appeal to them.

  • MokoscoM Makomborero (@MokoscoM) reported

@SkySports If the issue is on "Unused home shirts were to be signed by players and then auctioned off" ". Can't the same be done on away kits?? Other wise epl should leavy a fee for a team to pay n use away kit on top of other fund raising activity

  • Michael34669858 Michael Knight (@Michael34669858) reported

@MoorabyMehrin @SkyHelpTeam Yer they will never check the satalites for a broadband issue. The reason behind that being it comes through cables to your house so you cant really check for something that isnt a problem..

  • SylviaandBrian Sylvia Philpott (@SylviaandBrian) reported

@SkySports What a load of crap!! Should be ashamed of themselves, bureaucracy gone mad!!

  • sferguson1 steven ferguson (@sferguson1) reported

@SkySports Probably has a lot to do with the opposition of the Super League. It's hard to everyone to be so against that change yet welcome a massive change in the world cup which lets be honest would only be happening to make FIFA more money. Bad timing is mainly the reason.

@SkySports How's that work then! I have an idea. Unlike Rashford making tax payers pay for tubby kids with their mom having 2 grands worth of tattoos on her arms that can't afford to feed her kids. How about each footballer puts in 30k of their 300k wages per week to help the poor?
